    DPC Watchdog Violation BSOD

    Hi,
Recently, I have had several DPC_Watchdog_Violation Blue Screens after waking my PC up from sleep/hibernation. After clicking the mouse to wake up the computer, the screen would go on, but the keyboard and mouse would not react any further, giving the impression that the computer is frozen. Few instants later the DPC_Watchdog_Violation BSOD appears.

My system hardware is given in my signature. I always try to use the most recent drivers, regularly running Windows updates, but preferring drivers from Asrock's or Intel's homepage.

I suspect that it's related to the latest Intel HD 4000 driver that was installed through Intel's auto update website utility, but cannot be sure. Should I go back to a WHQL driver like this one? Latest Intel HD Graphics Driver for Windows 8

I have attached the SF Diagnosis zip.

I am very thankful for any advice.

    Steve

    Hi

There seems to be more than one software issue with your system. As a first step, please uninstall LogMein Hamatchi completely from the system and let me know whether it makes any changes.

The problem is that the freezes after wake up are intermittent, e.g., I haven't had them in over a day now although I haven't installed LogMeIn. However, I suspect you might be right about this program and I will get rid of it. But what is the reason it's causing these troubles on my PC? It's a standard program for playing LAN games over the net and I have used the latest version.

What other software problems do you say I have?

    Hi

LogMeIn Hamatchi do shave known issues with Windows 8 and 8.1 which are still not fully resolved. For example - Hamachi and Windows 8.1 - Page 3 - LogMeIn Community

There is clear indication in your crash dumps that Hamachi drivers are playing a role in the crash and that is why you need to uninstall it at least as a test. We need to check whether the issue remains even after removing Hamatchi.
