Solved Weird BSOD While Gaming

Hi. I'm sorry for my poor English here. I have had this pc for roughly 3 months now. In the first month it was working fine. It crashes randomly while gaming only full-screen. Some times it crashes after launching game for 5 minutes. Some times after hours. Some times it works fine for many days. Some times it keeps crashing multiple times a day.
When it crashes, one of these things will happen. First, the screen turns black, and it makes the glitch sound, and hangs for a minute then reboot. Second, just like the first one but it'll hang forever. I need to press and hold the power button. And the last, screen freezes but doesn't turn black, the audio keeps playing. After 5-10 seconds it'll work again. But the brightness changes. It's brighter. And when I have a look in Msi Afterburner, it always shows me very strange gpus usage and memory as you can see in the picture after it works again. View attachment 40554

Thanks in advanced.

[EDIT]

More information here. It crashed again and I quickly pressed ctr+alt+delete. I saw an error message poped up saying "Application has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware". I opened event viewer and saw that game.exe and explorer.exe were blocked from accessing gpu. Btw, I'll attach more logs here.

MSI Afterburner (along with Riva Tuner and EVGA Precision) are known to cause BSOD's in some Windows systems (it's driver is usually RTCore64.sys). Please un-install it immediately!

If you're overclocking, please stop the overclock while we're troubleshooting. Feel free to resume the overclock once the system has been stabilized.

I'll look at your reports after work today (I'm late for work right now).

Thanks for your reply. Sorry for that I didn't mention I never overclock my pc. I'll try uninstall Msi Afterburner and see if the problem is solved. I'll let you know asap.

Razer Game Booster may cause BSOD's also - please uninstall it to see if that helps

Many Live Kernel Events in the WER section of MSINFO32 - yet very few BSOD's there (and, only 1 memory dump in your uploads):
Please do the following:
- open Event Viewer (run eventvwr.msc from the "Run" dialog))
- expand the Custom Views category (left click on the > next to the words "Custom Views")
- right click on Administrative Events
- select "Save all Events in Custom View as..."
- save the file as Admin.evtx
- zip up the file (right click on it, select "Send to", select "Compressed (zipped) folder")
- upload it with your next post (if it's too big, then upload it to a free file-hosting service and post a link here).

While waiting for a reply, please monitor your temps with this free utility: HWMonitor CPUID - System & hardware benchmark, monitoring, reporting
You may also want to start these free diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics

Running both MalwareBytes and Kaspersky resident in memory can cause problems also. Please set MalwareBytes so it's not resident (not starting with Windows). Be sure to update your Kaspersky to a version that's compatible w/Win8.1: https://support.kaspersky.com/windows8.1#section0.block1

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

Please note the drivers below that date from before the release of Windows 8.1 (17 Oct 2013) - check to see that each and every one is compatible w/Windows 8.1 (at the manufacturer's website). If not, you must either remove the device and it's software - or locate a Windows 8.1 compatible update on the web. Removing some drivers may make the system unstable - so if you're unable to find updates, post back for info on the one's that can/cannot be safely removed.

If all of this doesn't stop the BSOD's, please run these free hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics. Let us know the results and we can move on from there.

Hi. Thanks for reply. I uninstalled Razer Game Booster. Downloaded and installed the latest drivers from Logitech. I also checked for update via the software and it said that the driver is up to date. Rtcore64.sys isn't there now. I think it has been removed when I uninstalled Msi Afterburner. But LhdX64.sys from Lenovo, I couldn't find anything on their site and I don't know how to uninstall it either. And since you said that it could cause my system unbootable. Kaspersky is up to date. Malwarebytes, I close it but have not uninstalled it. Just to see if it'll cause any issues. If it does, I'll uninstall it and keep Kaspersky.

And, after uninstalling Msi Afterburner, no BSOD until now. I'll let you know asap if it occurs.

Don't worry about the Lenovo driver for now.

Steam issues in the report - uninstall, then reinstall the latest, Win8.1 compatible version

Check to be sure that you have the latest version of your UEFI/BIOS. If not, install it.
Be very careful to follow the instructions exactly.

nVidia display driver errors.
Please:
- download a fresh copy of the latest, Win8.1 compatible drivers from the Lenovo website
- uninstall the current video drivers from your laptop
- install the freshly downloaded drivers.

You can keep MalwareBytes installed on your system (I have it on my system) as long as it's not running. It's not recommended to let any 2 antivirus' run at the same time, as they'll compete for resources/access and may even let malware in.

Ok. I have done everything you said. And no problems til now. But I won't mark this thread as solved right now. I want to make sure no more issues, then I'll mark it as solved. Thanks a million. Without you I would have killed my pc since it made me really angry.

Hi, today BSOD has come back again. It doesn't freeze my system. But keeps saying "Application has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware". Here's the log file.

Borderlands.exe is causing issues accessing your hardware.
Are you sure that this application is compatible w/Win8.1?
Where did you get it from? If possible, please provide a link to the download site (so we can verify compatibility w/Win8.1).

Steam has an error with your firewall. What firewall are you using (most likely it's Kaspersky)?
Please uninstall Kaspersky temporarily.
Be sure to enable Windows Defender and the Windows Firewall once Kaspersky is uninstalled.
Feel free to reinstall the latest version of Kaspersky that's compatible w/Win8.1 once you've determined if Kaspersky is to blame or not.

I'd also suggest repairing/reinstalling Steam (in order to be sure the errors aren't coming from there).

Please zip up the contents of C:\Windows\Minidump and upload them with your next post. You may have to copy it to your desktop in order to zip it up.

not only Borderlands.exe, but also other games were causing issues. About steam, from steam forums many people are having the same issue. And developers couldn't help.

So, I decided to re-install the system. Format my hard drives. Till now, no BSOD. I didn't update gpu driver though. If it's working fine, I'll stick with it. Someone told me not to fix something that isn't broken.

Thanks for your help.
