Solved BSOD BAD_POOL_HEADER ntoskrnl.exe

Hi all,
I have run WhoCrashed program to try and figure out why my computer crashed. I came up with 2 problems, Avast and MS NT Kernel & System:

Bug check description: This indicates that a pool header is corrupt.
This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem. This might be a case of memory corruption. More often memory corruption happens because of software errors in buggy drivers, not because of faulty RAM modules.
The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time.

Can anyone tell me how I resolve this, or will it be resolved if I uninstall avast?

Thank you. I have removed avast. We'll see if this resolves the problem.

UPDATE: 04-06-2014
Avast have made some changes to their aswsnx.sys file. I followed their instructions to make sure Avast was completely removed from my system, then installed the latest version. It has been 5 days, and several reboots, without issue. It appears the problem has been resolved.
