I have just recently got done building my computer my self back in mid February and installed Windows 8.1 on it. Shortly after getting done installing everything else when it started to given me the BSOD just be for it got to the log in screen. I have tried every thing Including wiping it and reinstalling windows. At first It would let me in after a restart or two but now it won't let me in at all unless I'm in safe mode. I have fallowed the instructions I found here on the forums and hope the attached file will help.

Get a real version of Windows and clean install it instead of this -

Built by: 9600.16384.amd64fre.winblue_rtm.130821-1623

(Yes, I know you'll say it is real and so on. - I have my reasons.)

Don't install AVG. (Or uninstall and use removal tool for it, then set Windows Defender and Windows Firewall to Automatic.)

Don't install Daemon Tools Lite. PowerISO instead. (Or uninstall and make sure this driver is gone:

Code:
0: kd> lmvm dtsoftbus01
start end module name
fffff800`00600000 fffff800`00648000 dtsoftbus01 (deferred)
    Image path: \SystemRoot\System32\drivers\dtsoftbus01.sys
    Image name: dtsoftbus01.sys

    Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4
)

Do not install this (or do install 2012 or newer drivers if exist):

Code:
lvpopf64 lvpopf64.sys Wed Oct 07 04:27:20 2009 (4ACC50E8)
lvrs64 lvrs64.sys Wed Oct 07 04:27:59 2009 (4ACC510F)
lvsels64 lvsels64.sys Wed Oct 07 04:27:19 2009 (4ACC50E7)
lvuvc64 lvuvc64.sys Wed Oct 07 04:28:44 2009 (4ACC513C)

Install latest video driver from NVIDIA.com:

nvlddmkm nvlddmkm.sys Fri Jun 21 05:06:16 2013 (51C41788)

You gotta fix Killer LAN like this:

MSI USA

Make sure RAM timings, frequency and VDIMM are correct for your modules and ensure they are all the same brand and exact same type (exact same part number).

Thank you for your help. Flowing the instructions from the MSI link you left seems to have salved the issue. I was wondering what makes you think I don't have a Real version of windows?

You're welcome.

Winblue in the name and the fact that Microsoft is not serving symbols for it.

It's real but it's not "real" if you understand what I mean. Basically, not full supported.

Could that be because I have reinstalled windows on it? If so is there a way it can be fixed without me have to pay $119 for a new key?

No, it's the actual build of what you installed. How many times you installed it doesn't change that.

All that key stuff about when they work or not is not my strong suit - but your key should work with any build of Windows 8. You might ask TheOG on this forum to look at your question above to see if he has a better response. He will know for sure. He might even tell you how to procure a standard build of 8 or 8.1.

If the machine stays stable after all of the above, then I wouldn't lose sleep over it either way, though.
