    BSOD Issues

Hey, started running into issues on my laptop a few days ago and today started getting hit by BSOD while playing a steam game. Restarted my computer and started doing some research and got hit again. I've attached a copy of my sf report. Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hi,

Uninstall McAfee. Use the removal tool for it after. Set Windows Firewall and Windows Defender to Automatic. Enjoy.

You really should uninstall this MOZY software too:

    MOBK MOBK.sys Thu Dec 31 22:20:07 2009 (4B3D69E7)

And update these directly from Realtek's website:

    Rt630x64 Rt630x64.sys Mon Jul 30 12:03:12 2012 (5016B040)
    RtsBaStor RtsBaStor.sys Mon Jul 30 02:08:03 2012 (501624C3)

Alright, so I got rid of McAfee and turned defender and firewall on. How do I get rid of MOBK MOBK.sys though? I'm not sure where to find it to uninstall it,

A simple Google search for it would have led you to this:

    Mozy support for Windows 8

Just update whatever you have so I don't have to type out the removal procedure lol.

I looked up Mozy and it doesn't look familiar. I didn't even know I had any of their software on my computer so I don't know what it is that I would update.

    /sigh

    ok

    Delete this file:

    Code:
    1: kd> lmvm mobk
    start end module name
    fffff880`03c00000 fffff880`03c16000 MOBK (deferred)
        Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\MOBK.sys
        Image name: MOBK.sys
        Timestamp: Thu Dec 31 22:20:07 2009 (4B3D69E7)
        CheckSum: 0001E694
        ImageSize: 00016000
        Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4
    Open Regedit. Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services

Delete the subkey for the above driver, when you find it.

    Reboot.
