Also I am experiencing slower start up when turning on my laptop. My win8 msi laptop used to open in just a matter of seconds but now it takes 1 minute or two to load.

Unfortunately, the Ram is either defective (most likely) or the motherboard has blown capacitors.

It's not as bad as it sounds. Contact the maker of the RAM or MSI and tell them you need the RAM replaced with a matched set. Show them this thread if that helps you any.
