Help. this laptop is freezing - requiring a hard reboot - every week or two and I can't seem to determine from the logs where to look.

Can someone please take a look at the attached and offer a suggestion (besides hemlock or a BFH (big frigging hammer).

Thanks

Hi,

Last crash dump included is from August of last year. I suspect a bad power adapter or battery.

In any case, you should update from Realtek's site:

RSUSBVSTOR RtsUVStor.Sys Realtek Kernel 10/15/2012 2:20:45 AM
RTL8168 Realtek 8168 NT Driver Kernel 9/7/2012 1:21:17 AM
RTKVHD64 RTKVHD64.sys Tue Jan 08 08:25:20 2013 (50EC1E40)

And uninstall the software that owns this:

PxHlpa64 PxHlpa64 Kernel 4/24/2012 10:26:29 AM

Update or uninstall Epson software.

Thanks MasterChief,

Unfortunately, I'm a bit slow on this stuff.

First - not sure why the dump files are from August - this machine froze on me tonight, last week, etc - maybe the freeze isn't creating a dump file?

Second, I can't figure out which program owns this; it is related to Sonic or Corel but I can't find a program related to either of these to uninstall. Should I just delete the service?

Thanks for your help - and patience.

Thanks.

Sorry,

"this" in the last paragraph in the above post is the PxHlpa64 service.
