BSOD mainly in games, sometimes random

hey all!im using windows 8.1 pro 64bitIt happens mainly while im playing games, sometimes random encounters like internet surfing or even when im in kitchen(pc only desktop)I used /sfc scannow(no errors) , /chkdsk(no errors), memtest(no errors), refreshed os(bsod happens after), updated bios, driver verifier(found bug with nvidia kernel, i reinstalled graphic driver and D.V. wont causing any crashes from now), D.I.S.M. (found error and repaired)This problem has been long time affecting that system (that was even in release preview edition)Dunno what else to tell U, dmp and spec attached of course*i had problem with power supply once; it was turning my pc off(no bsod) but now i have OCZ ZS Series 750W THX for looking into this

    Hi,

    Uninstall VMWare (for now).

Update VIA Audio driver from VIA's wesbite:

    viahduaa viahduaa.sys Mon Oct 22 04:11:15 2012 (5084FFA3)

Uninstal AVG. Use removal tool for it after. Set Windows Defender and Windows Firewall to Automatic and start them too.

When it stays stable for some time, try your luck wit newest VMWare again.

    Enjoy.

thx for quick response, i started and uninstalled vmware, i used removal tool to avg, but i have bitdefender free edition if You know(it should be in that spec) i think thats ok, but with driver to VIA audio is problem because im in their website and there are those 4 steps (choose os, which one, which driver AND the last is to choose 1 from 4 codecs mith mark VT1702S-VT1828S, there are 2 dates: 7 NOV 2012 and 25 JUL 2012) and if i want to download, its loading for eternity) i searched for exact file as U wrote but i failed. Most possible is that Im dumb :/ so correct me if U pls :/

Don't worry about VIA for now.

Try your luck just by using the machine normally now. If you need to, uninstall BitDefender.

OK, i uninstalled remains of AVG, bitdefender; turned on windows defender, updated VIA audio driver to that date as You said and I thought it was all :/ It took some time, and again when i was playing, BSOD appeared with this different phrase KERNEL SECURITY CHECK FAILED, and it seems serious, Im giving that dmp in zip if thats right (sorry for that last foolish post).

Ok, I notice you're always playing the same game when the system crashes. There could be an inherent problem to the game itself.

"EXCEPTION_CODE: (NTSTATUS) 0xc0000409 - The system detected an overrun of a stack-based buffer in this application. This overrun could potentially allow a malicious user to gain control of this application."

Let's look at memory. Please attach a screenshot of CPU-Z 1st tab, one of Memory tab, and one each for each stick of RAM of the SPD tab.

    Update to SpeedFan v4.49

heh heh no "inherent" is different from "internet"

Inherent means: belonging to the basic nature of someone or something

Don't play that game for now. Do all other things. If it crashes:

Go into the bios settings and set the timings for the RAM manually to 9-9-9-24 instead of 9-12-12-30.

Increase the voltage to 1.55v for RAM, then save and test.
