Huh? You asked for step by step, and I gave you a resource from the maker of Windows itself.

If the procedures are unfamiliar to you, it's probably best to have a friend or relative that may know Windows better read the thread and perform the operations.
Sadly I don't have any. I'll see if I can try again. Thanks for the help though. Much appreciated.

Alright, I did all those things. I'm still getting a BSoD. I really don't know what is going on.

Ok, you can run the tool again and attach results so we can verify software is in excellent state.

There were no new bsod crash dumps, which means its unlikely one actually happened (unless you removed them with Ccleaner or something.)

You have no driver installed for Synaptics, PxHlpa64 driver is still active and present and you need to install the USB 3.0 driver from motherboard site:

USB-IF xHCI USB Host Controller ROOT\UOIP_BUS_DRIVER\0000 This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device.

For the PxHlpa64 driver, I went into regedit, it was in lower filters, deleted it, restarted my computer, and there it was again.

Synaptics driver won't install. Keeps saying failed. Went to the HP website, downloaded the drivers installer, and it wouldn't launch.

Updated some drivers from the Intel website, too.

You're not following instructions well about Px driver.

Forgot to follow the image path. Okay, that's done. Deleted it from System32 (and further in), but it wasn't in regedit anymore. (for some reason, it was still open from last night. And I've restarted it about 12 times since then.)

I got the Synaptics driver as a Windows update. Installed it, and now I'm going to restart my laptop.

I narrowed down to one of the reasons why I'm blue-screening.

The security update for IE. Every time it tries to install, it downloads, then come installation, it crashes.

I don't know what the other reasons are.

Update itself can not be at fault, even if it happens while trying every time. It is the catalyst then and not the cause.

You can post the latest crash dump.

If it is "clean" we will look into memory.
