Random BSOD on new PC with fresh W8

    Hello guys

    I've aquired the following pc:
    AMD FX-8300
    AsRock 970 Pro3
    2*4GB Gskill ripjaw
    FSP Raider 550w
    AMD Radeon 280x
    Seagate something 1TB

I've used the pc for a few days with a usb pen with Ubuntu Live while i was backing up the files from the disk and it was ok. No crashes and no problems.
Then i installed W8 and i'm getting +- 2 BSOD's a day. I've already tried to find out the source, but the logs i find in the minudups are not clear to me.
I'm only uploading 2 dmp files because i've done a system restore and all previous dmp were erased. I'll upload more when it happens again.

    Thanks

This is the only issue I see so far.. C:\Program Files\kmspico\service_kms.exe

Remove the program along with any startup entries responsible for this.

    Thanks ectech

I'll remove it and give some feed back on the development of the issue.

Uninstall Daemon Tools Lite and replace it with PowerISO.

The machine has poor settings in the bios or has defective RAM. 1 of the 2 is very probable (or motherboard - rare.)

Leave settings as is, but run CPU-Z. Make a screenshot of the first tab. Make a screenshot of Memory tab. Then, for each stick of RAM you have - make a screenshot of the SPD tab. Attach these to a new post please, using the picture icon above where you type.

Daemontools was uninstalled in the last system restore and i don't intend to reinstall it.
All possible settings are default since i haven't had time to check the best values yet. No OC of any kind.
I thought about the defective ram possibility since the dmp files i've checked before the system restore had no similarities (at least to me).

Here are the cpu-z shots you've requested:
    Attachment 36634
    Cpu-Z main tab

    Attachment 36635
    Cpu-Z mem tab

    Attachment 36636
    Cpu-Z mem1 @slot#2

    Attachment 36637
    Cpu-Z mem2 @slot#4

I didn't have any new bsod. yet...

    Thanks

In bios, set the memory for 667 MHz, for reported DRAM Frequency.

Set timings to 9-9-9-24. Check results with CPU-Z when back to Windows.

    Source and specs.

Machine will be good to go, in my estimations, so enjoy it.

    Ok, i can do that.
    But i'm not understanding why.

    According to Gskill's site:
    Tested Speed 1600Mhz @ 9-9-9-24
Doesn't it mean the memories should be @ 800Mhz in the bios?

    Thank you
