My laptop crashes when exiting sleep mode

I've been having trouble with Windows 7, Some chipset thing or something, So I decided to upgrade to windows 8, So far I love it, But when I take my laptop out of sleep mode it flashes a bsod, so I don't get enough time to see it.
It's not that much of a problem, but it's just very inconvenient.

There wee no crash dumps included, but for sure, a very excellent start on tackling this for you would be to uninstall Earthboundin K10 software w/ winring0x64.sys driver.

The driver was not deleted well:

    Code:
    1: kd> lmvm WinRing0x64
    start end module name
    fffff880`1748d000 fffff880`17494000 WinRing0x64 (deferred)
        Image path: \??\C:\Users\earthboundin\Desktop\K10STAT154\WinRing0x64.sys
        Image name: WinRing0x64.sys
        Timestamp: Sat Jul 26 09:29:37 2008 (488B26C1)
        CheckSum: 00011908
        ImageSize: 00007000
        Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4
    Delete C:\Users\earthboundin\Desktop\K10Stat154 entire folder.

Then open Regedit and find the subkey for that driver, here - delete it:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services

    Reboot.

Then run this command from an elevated command prompt:

    chkdsk /r C:

And yes to any questions it asks.

When that's all done, update Realtek lan driver and Realtek card reader storage driver:

    Code:
    Rt630x64 Rt630x64.sys Wed Oct 19 08:12:55 2011 (4E9EBEC7)
    RtsPStor RtsPStor.sys Thu Jul 21 01:52:49 2011 (4E27BEB1)
    Realtek <<<Lan Driver

And install the latest chipset storage driver for your AMD ports:

    Code:
    Name ATA Channel 0
    Manufacturer (Standard IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers)
    Status OK
    PNP Device ID PCIIDE\IDECHANNEL\4&1E8C28F8&0&0

Not sure why you think you need to alter the electrical design of the machine in order to let it survive, so that seems rather far on the dubious side to me.

Your machine will be best off taking the necessary steps as per above. Best of luck with it.

So I uninstalled k10stat, before I did that it would just sit on a black screen then crash, now it shows my lockscreen pic for about 7sec then crashes, I updated my card reader storage driver, I still have no idea where to get the chipset drivers I feel like that's what's messing it up, I'm REALLY starting to miss sleep mode

I've actually had this problem for a while, I really should have taken care of it sooner. It is mostly because I found ways around it, which probably aren't too good for my computer.
