I'm not able to find info on which exact AMD chipset it is, but I really think the top link shown here will install well for you:

    AMD Chipset Drivers

Check Device Manager after, to see if the storage uses amdxata.sys or something similar to that, after install.

If not, try the first link shown under this name: "AMD RAID Drivers"

If new crashes at all, let me see the crash dump. No problem. We'll make it good one way or another. (If you're still having crashes coming out of sleep, I can almost guarantee that driver that should have been deleted is still active. We'll see.)

Ok - then double check that you updated Realtek lan driver above. That's all for now, until we see more if necessary.

Worst case scenario, what happens if it isn't the right chipset driver

All the "raid" installer did was try to install catalyst, which I already have

You have Realtek 8168, so click top link 10/100/1000, then click on PCI Express, then click Software.

No worries. Installers don't install to devices that they can't. There are hardware ids in the install info that checks.

I own a HP Probook 450 G1.Often when my laptop goes to sleep(automatically or manually) it just crashes. Sometimes it crashes after waking up or sometimes I can't even wake it up(The lock screen shows up then it asks for the user account's password and then the blue screen comes up and crashes) ...
I've actually had this problem for a while, I really should have taken care of it sooner. It is mostly because I found ways around it, which probably aren't too good for my computer. If I leave music running in the background and put the computer to sleep then the error won't occur. Needless-to-say...
I have a new Asus S400CA that came with Windows 8 and I updated to 8.1 out of the box. The computer crashes when it goes into sleep mode probably 1 out of 3 times. I have tried updating all the drivers, including the wireless driver. I have it set to make minidumps but they aren't being created...
This issue has been ongoing for months, ever since I purchased the computer in November. Microsoft basically abandoned my issue and I personally have not been able to solve it myself. I am using an ASUS K55N laptop, equipped with an AMD A8-4500M APU, 4GB single-channel RAM, and of course,...
Laptop Crashes in Sleep Mode in General Support
When I attempt to wake my Windows 8 laptop from sleep mode, the computer restarts due to a crash. I used WhoCrashed to identify the problem and it says the following: crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\082313-67018-01.dmp This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe...
I bought and upgraded to Windows 8 Pro the other day and roughly every 30-40 min it crashes. Hello EightForums, I'm new here so please be easy on me :P Alright so I installed Windows 8 the other day (a clean install from ISO and a legitimate copy).
