MULTIPLE_IRP_COMPLETE_REQUESTS (Google Chrome?)

Hi EightForums,

Today, on my new-ish Windows 8.1 laptop, after not being able to load any web pages with Google Chrome (I didn't try IE), I rebooted, then I started chrome, I was able to connect to google.co.uk but then suddenly encountered a BSOD saying the aforementioned error had caused it.

On booting again I again started Chrome to look up this error and BSOD again for the same reason.

I googled on my old W7 laptop this error and it seems to be caused by pretty much anything so I've made my own thread.

Using IE, I managed to get the SF_Diagnostic_Tool and ran it, I've zipped the files, bluetoothed them to this old laptop and attached them here.

So, so far I know it's possibly something to do with Chrome, it isn't IE and it isn't bluetooth. Nor to do with running (at least some) programs. As of right now it's idling and not crashed again.

!!!Mid-Writing update!!! I hibernated the laptop (Sleep seems to cause some issues but they're liveable) and on waking, while still on that drop down thing it crashed again. On rebooting it crashed in the same place. It was the same error.

I don't yet have the dumps for these last two.

Please help and thank-you anyone that can!

Windows installer is telling me I can't un-install Hamachi as "This action is only valid for products that are currently installed."
Is manual deletion an option?

Oh Hamachi, why you always so fail?

Edit:
Un-installed a bunch of other things that appear to have installed as sneaky background things along with something else. (What is "surftastic" anyway?)

Right, that's done. Now rebooting and I'll check back here if anything is still going wrong.

In the meantime, in the assumption it worked;

Thank-you very much and may I compliment your profile picture.

You're welcome and thanks! I really got into Halo multiplayer on Gamespy for the past month or so since I only had onboard graphics for a while, up until about a week ago. Still one of the best games. Going to try my luck with Halo 2 install on 7. I got it going once before, but it's easier said then done.

Awesome! Pretty much my favourite game franchise! I've never played 2, actually. After that would be Assassin's creed. I play it on Xbox; I don't have the PC versions.

And a minor problem I just realised: That program you told me to install, I only just ran it (I couldn't find it initially), and it isn't finding hamachi, but it still shows in Programs and Features. Though I haven't had any crashes yet so i'll just go delete the files from pograms and let the remains sit dormant. I've a 1TB HHD I'm not going to need most of the space anyway!

Thanks again chief!

Delete the Hamachi folder in Program Files or Program Files (x86).

C:\Windows\Installer <<< Add Authors column and put it in alphabetical order. Delete anything Hamachi.

Open Regedit. Delete Hamachi if seen at:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE

or

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software

Delete any Hamachi references in:

C:\ProgramData

and

C:\Users\{YOURUSERNAMEHERE}\AppData\Roaming

Run Ccleaner and its reg cleaner.

...no doubt.
