Random BSOD

I put the RAMs into slot #1 and #2 now but I think I'll leave the command rate at 2T for now.

Today I downloaded the newest version of Ultramon. I didn't like DisplayFusion because it isn't possible to create desktop links for programms which will start the programm on a specific screen - or maybe I didn't find this function - anyways, Ultramon works fine now.

The graphicscard is also back in my computer and the latest driver is installed.

Everything seems to be ok now. Thank you so much MasterChief - I started a thread in another board and noone could help me or didn't even bother. Solving this problem would not have been possible without your help

So, just to sum up, the "real" problems were Kaspersky and the driver of my DVD-drive? Is there a way that I can use Kaspersky? I do have a license that is still valid for more than a year ...

The "real" problems were anything and everything I suggested. You're welcome.

I can only suggest that you test the machine for some time, even up to a week, even up to a month, as it is.

When you are feeling risky enough, then you can try to alter the system to your liking, one small step at a time. If/when issues return, undo the latest change.

Best of luck with current stability.

    Here we go again:

    DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL - 0x000000d1 - NETIO.SYS

I haven't changed anything in the last 24 hours.

// I found something on google - maybe the problem is a network driver. I have now removed everything from my Belkin USB-Stick and installed a Fritz!WLAN-Stick. Let's see what happens ...

    REFERENCE_BY_POINTER
    0x00000018
    ntoskrnl.exe

Hmm this is the first time that I get this kind of BSOD

I switched back to my Belkin network adapter.

MasterChief, do you have any ideas? This whole BSOD thing is starting to annoy me

In my fist post of the thread, I did say to uninstall UltraMon. So yeah - there's that annoyance.

Memtest86+ overnight to see how memory tests out.

Okay, Memtest86+ didn't find any errors - after 10 hours of testing.

.... and I uninstalled Ultramon again.

    Hello again,

    I just had 2 bluescreens

    DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
    PFN_LIST_CORRUPT

The second one appeared for the first time

    What should I do?

Ok, it is looking like the memory is defective, but you can post another crash dump again before I say with near certainty.

Before doing so, please delete this driver:

    Code:
    3: kd> lmvm GEARAspiWDM
    start end module name
    fffff800`035f7000 fffff800`035fdc00 GEARAspiWDM (deferred)
        Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\GEARAspiWDM.sys
        Image name: GEARAspiWDM.sys
        Timestamp: Thu May 03 15:56:17 2012 (4FA2E2E1)
        CheckSum: 00008963
        ImageSize: 00006C00
        Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4
Then look at the following location to find the Regedit subkey for that driver and delete it:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services

    Reboot.

If your CD/DVD drive does not work, then follow this.

Okay, I have done all that.

I also remarked that my Download-Speed is quite slow since I changed my NIC - I am now using the Belkin-Stick again. According to the FritzBox Control Panel the WLAN-connection should be ok but I only get half the speed now ... Could this have something to do with the other problems?
