Hi ,

I bought my new laptop from Hp this month with windows 8 inbuilt.

i used to download a lot from utorrent . But whenever i download a game torrent i am getting the BSOD errors .

From this forum , have identified everyone suggested to uninstall mcAfee antivirus to get the problem solved.

I tried to remove , but still the problem persists for me . Can you please help on what has to be removed further to make my computer work fine without any crashes.

http://www.eightforums.com/bsod-cra...-driver_irql_not_less_or_equal-netio-sys.html

Attached my system config files and other stuff .

There were no crash dumps included, but if it was my machine, I would remove Symantec, reboot, then run the tool they offer to remove it as well.

Set Windows Firewall and Windows Defender to Automatic and start them too.

I'd also uninstall Tuneup Utilities.

The files in C:\Windows\Minidump stay there permanently or until you use something that deletes them, such as Ccleaner or Windows' Disk Cleanup Utility.

The advice is the same as above that we've given.

Any further problems after are unlikely, but if so, we're here.

Hi, I just received your p.m. asking for me to analyze the crash dump you posted.

If you re-read the thread, you will notice I have already done so (twice - once before ever seeing it and once after seeing it) and there is nothing at all that I can add at this time. There's no need for a 3rd time.

All I can say for now is to repeat from my previous post, while adding emphasis: "Any further problems after are unlikely, but if so, we're here."

It really is quite simple, so please stop asking about updating drivers, this, that or the other thing or looking for an answer that you would like to hear instead of the answer that fixes the machine:

Apology not accepted, simply because it is uncalled for and you are not bugging me.

Norton is now removed successfully. With the network issue you are experiencing, it was truly the first step necessary to fix it. Having suggested anything else would have been akin to telling someone with a terminal illness to drink more water in hopes of a cure.

Now, we are are ready to move to the next step (or I am, to be precise.) I have your crash dump opened on my other screen and will now scrutinize and ponder all the various ways this problem could be caused by. You will see the results right below, starting with my next paragraph. Give me a second (lol).

This is your wireless network driver for your Realtek RTL8188EE adapter:

Code:
rtwlane rtwlane.sys Tue May 28 02:29:56 2013 (51A44EE4)

I do not expect any issues whatsoever with it, as it is Realtek, it is a good date, and they are quite good.

Try to install from here anyway, from RTL8188CUS, version 1026.5.1118.2013:

Realtek

This driver should be updated, if there is one available to do so with:

Code:
WirelessButtonDriver64 WirelessButtonDriver64.sys Wed Aug 29 23:11:29 2012 (503ED9E1)

Driver Reference Table - WirelessButtonDriver64.sys

(I don't see anything for it for your model, however. You might have to contact HP about it, eventually, depending on results.)

Install this to make sure the Bluetooth drivers are updated to latest:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp62001-62500/sp62186.exe

Uninstall ALL Apple software from the machine. (For now, until issue sorted. Add back one by one, so you can see if/when issues start again, if they do.)

Thanks Mastercheif . Much helpful . Have not updated the driver yet, and my system dont have bluetooth .

Today was about to update my wireless adapter driver , but before updating have faced few frequent crashes within half hour and something different errors .

Apart from the mentioned errors , today i got the below ones also in extra

CompositeBus.sys+3403040
HIDCLASS.SYS+26e7
USBPORT.SYS+658f
hal.dll+c184

Not sure why my system behaved like this suddenly . All that i did yesterday was making some partitions in my disc (have seperated as 3 partitions in disc now). Have installed EaseUs application for partition , but didnt used it . Today uninstalled that app also , later device started to keep on crashing.

Can you please help in identifying the error .

In addition to above, specifically about:

WirelessButtonDriver64 WirelessButtonDriver64.sys Wed Aug 29 23:11:29 2012 (503ED9E1)

uninstall Daemon Tools Lite. Replace with PowerISO.

Delete:

Code:
1: kd> lmvm GEARAspiWDM
start end module name
fffff880`04e29000 fffff880`04e2fc00 GEARAspiWDM (deferred)

Delete its subkey in Regedit at:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services

Reboot.

Tell me if your optical drive stopped working. We will fix it (that's good if so.)
