Very intelligent people often post their issues, and are so close to solving it themselves, if they only knew it. One small step away!

Uninstall Quickheal, set Windows Firewall to Automatic and start it too. Do the same for Windows Defender.

Update Atheros:

It's your machine so of course, you make the choices. Unfortunately, just because you paid for something does not mean it can work well with what you already have.

No, torrents or their software can not crash Windows.

Best of luck. If you need something else, surely let me know. You're welcome.

I've already done this for ya.

You've had a failure in operating system driver NETIO.sys - what you added to the system in relation to networking is causing it and you already know what that is.

I try to say this in the most non-arrogant way I can, since I am not like that - but - no customer care representative is going to be able to troubleshoot issues like I have done for you. If they possess that ability, typically they don't handle customers' issues.

It's fairly simple: If crashes persist after having updated the above network drivers, Quickheal must be removed to fix the issue (it will) or at the very least, have it out of the way for further troubleshooting measures.

I already told you that torrents and their software can not crash Windows. I am not guessing at that.

Your torrents will work perfectly with Quickheal removed.

Of course, you are completely within your rights to keep Quickheal installed, but if you are going to choose to do that, then I think the burden of fixing the machine falls onto you to figure out.

That's my nice way of asking in a rhetoric manner: Why seek help if you wish not to follow the advice?

I can not help with the issue any longer with QH installed (technical reason, not personal), so if you choose to keep it installed, best of luck with everything.

Yep. It's because it has drivers.

uTorrent, Bittorent, Azureus, Xunlei and all similar programs do not have drivers.

Like I said here: "If crashes persist after having updated the above network drivers, Quickheal must be removed to fix the issue (it will) or at the very least, have it out of the way for further troubleshooting measures."

(Bold emphasis added.)

So the machine will be well, but in the 1% chance it is not, you let me know and we will make it so.

You're welcome.

From what I gather in the limited reading I've done on it, it has a lower detection rate than lots of others.

I would trust in it however, but also with a weekly scan with Malwarebytes, other good security practices like long passwords, having a secure router and general advice I laid down in this post:

http://www.eightforums.com/system-security/39481-security-test-results.html?highlight=#post332484

If you want a good, free 3rd party firewall and you have a decent cpu/ram, then ZoneAlarm free might be good for you. It can be set and forget it so it doesn't ever bother you for anything, once you have all your programs configured in it.

It's one of the better software firewalls going. It doesn't just close ports, but rather it filters them to give no response (unless you are purposely serving on a certain port.) That's good protection against hackers that scan blocks of ips for vulnerabilities, but your router is still your first defense, if you have one.

And any malware can report out of the machine without you letting it.

munzir, I read one of your earlier posts, and have something to say. I got a PC having Quick Heal Total Security 2014, and I am having the EXACT problem you are having. It seems to me(I am just guessing) that this year's software has some wrong driver files, and they keep making problems. I had originally bought the 2012 version, which came in the CD, and it shows no problems. Ever since I downloaded the 2014 software upgrade from the quickheal website, this problems keeps appearing. If you can get the quickheal guys to give you a downgraded version of their software(it may not be possible) it may fix your problem. It fixed mine.
