My computer has been experiencing frequent BSODs for the last two or so months, at first I thought it was an isolated issue but now it's become so frequent that it's becoming impossible to do anything. Now I have not installed anything unusual or done anything out of the ordinary during that time period so I assume maybe it's a windows update or a driver update. The little helpful information I've managed to dig up suggests that it may be a driver issue, so i downloaded the latest graphics card update (my PC crashed while trying to install it the first time, of course) and installed it. And there has been absolutely no change.
The times that this happen are completely random, sometimes while browsing the internet, sometimes on startup and sometimes when the computers doing nothing at all, then I walk in the room and hey BSOD! So there is absolutely no pattern as far as that goes.
Now I've only finally got around to asking for a solution myself, because today when i tried to launch windows not only did I get a BSOD that restart the computer, the computer then procceeded to fail to launch 3 times in a row. One message I was presented with was something along the lines of 'page fault in nonpaged area' (forgive me I didnt have a pen handy) So it appears as though the computer is getting worse despite no reason for doing as such?
Anyway if you guys have any suggestions I would be grateful however, right now I would really like to avoid downloading any third party software, because honestly the PCs pulling enough stuff now without foreign intervention. Oh and if you are going to tell me to do something please explain it as though I am an idiot (because I am) because it will save me asking you how I have to do so afterwards.
Thanks.
(Oh and right now I can't actually sort through files to look for a fix because when i try to open a folder the toolbar flashes and then nothing happens)
