    Multiple BSOD's

NOTE: My Lenovo is on safe mode, so I could not access the internet from it to download the Diagnostic Tools. : (

Hello, I got a new laptop yesterday and it is already not working properly. I bought it manufacturer refurbished online and I'd rather not return it. It is a Lenovo z580. I've neen having multiple problems with it and the more I have tried to fix it the more it seems to get worse.

    Some errors include:
MULTIPLE bsod's, including bad_pool_header, kern security check failure, etc. I must have gotten over 10 different ones, my computer restarts almost every 5 minutes.
    Windows Updates will not download/install.
When attempting automatic repair, it says it has failed because srttrail.txt.

    What I have done:
    Resfreshed the computer,
    Reset the computer,
Used onekey discovery system to reset the computer,
    Run maintenance on Windows Updates,
Used cmd options such as chkdsk:'s and such.

At this point I have wiped my computer clean to a point where I literally have no apps, no desktop, and I had to reactivate Windows. It now gives me a different long complicated error.

Can someone help me? I feel like I have made things worse when I've been doing the things recommended for me to do based on Microsoft forums. I am a college student and this is extremely inconvenient. : ( I have been using my phone and Windows 7 laptop in the meantime.
My Lenovo z580 was came with Windows 8 so I don't have the disk.
Please get back to me. : (

Boot to safe mode + networking. Download the removal tool for McAfee and use it.

    Update this driver:

    Code:
    1: kd> lmvm LhdX64
    start end module name
    fffff880`01bd8000 fffff880`01be6000 LhdX64 (deferred)
        Image path: \SystemRoot\System32\DRIVERS\LhdX64.sys
        Image name: LhdX64.sys
        Timestamp: Mon Jan 11 10:06:58 2010 (4B4B3E92)
        CheckSum: 0001784C
        ImageSize: 0000E000
        Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4
    Driver Reference Table - LhdX64.sys

Set Windows Firewall and Windows Defender to Automatic and start them too, using services.msc.

Unrelated, but should update Intel video driver from their site. Same for storage driver. And while you're at it, grab a copy of the latest Intel Chipset Update Utility from them for your machine and install it.

Although I restarted my laptop to Safe Mode plus networking, it is telling me that I am not connected to the internet and no connections are available. I ran the troubleshooter for the connection and it is telling me that I cannot connect to the internet because it is in Safe Mode.

    You have 3 choices then.

    1) Connect the machine by cable to the router.

    2) Set up the wireless connection in Windows so your router accepts it. For example: Security type and pass key.

    3) Download the removal tool from another machine, put it on USB stick, attach to Lenovo. Boot to safe mode and run from there.

I have got my laptop to go into Safe Mode with Networking (it suddenly worked after restarting) and I used to McAfee tool.
I have updated the video driver. It told me that I needed to update the Wifi driver so I am working on that as well (I got a BSOD both times halfway through, one being Kernel_security_check_error and the other service_exeption_error).
Where do I put in that code for that driver? When I followed the link and found my particular laptop, I could not find the driver (lhdx64).

If you're crashing in safe mode, that's not a good sign.

You can upload the newest crash so I can see the state of the machine, as it is now.

Set bios to Optimized Defaults and save. See if that helps any, with being more stable, for now.

    Here are the new .dmps.
It only crashed when I tried to install the Wifi driver, if that means anything. Both times I tried installing it would crash for a different reason.

    1) Uninstall FreeRide games software:

    Code:
    0: kd> lmvm X5XSEx_Pr148
    start end module name
    fffff880`189e9000 fffff880`189fb000 X5XSEx_Pr148 (deferred)
        Image path: \??\C:\Program Files (x86)\FreeRide Games\X5XSEx_Pr148.Sys
        Image name: X5XSEx_Pr148.Sys
        Timestamp: Thu Aug 02 08:51:27 2012 (501A77CF)
        CheckSum: 00017C75

        Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4
    2) Rename this file to .bak:

    Code:
    0: kd> lmvm lhdx64
    start end module name
    fffff880`01ce2000 fffff880`01cf0000 LhdX64 (deferred)
        Image path: \SystemRoot\System32\DRIVERS\LhdX64.sys
        Image name: LhdX64.sys
        Timestamp: Mon Jan 11 10:06:58 2010 (4B4B3E92)
        CheckSum: 0001784C

        Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4
And I will have a fix for the wireless.I just need you to type msinfo32 in the start screen. Press enter. File | save on the opened screen. Zip or rar the saved file, then attach it here.
