I am continuously getting a System_Service_Exception error, mostly when I run 3-4 sessions of Everquest 1. I have an AMD FX8350 chip on a MSI990FXA-GD80 motherboard. In tryignt o trace this issue down, I have replaced (in order):
Power Suoply
CPU
Motherboard
Case
Memory
Hard Drive
Graphics card

All of there were upgrades I was wanting to make eventually, but even after I essentially have a new PC, it still BSOD's pretty regularly. To make sure it wasn't a hard drive. I had all but the boot drive (a new hybrid 2TB drive) and my game load drive (an older SSD60) disconnected, and still received the error.

I have also reinstalled Windows 8.1 on this machine from scratch when I put in the new Hard Drive. I thought about resetting the drive again, but more and more I think its some type of driver issue.

I updated the graphics driver, but got the error on both sets of Nvidia drivers (the current one, and the previous one)

I have all of the SF diagnostic files, I will be uploading to this thread. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Hey.

When a machine crashes, even on 0x124 hardware specific types, it's generally not advisable to replace hardware (unless you're rich or something haha) - 99% of crashes are software, as is the case here.

Code:
LGBusEnum LGBusEnum.sys Mon Nov 23 20:36:48 2009 (4B0B38B0)
LGVirHid LGVirHid.sys Mon Nov 23 20:36:48 2009 (4B0B38B0)

Update your Logitech video game pad (or similar) drivers from their site to newest.

Either update or uninstall this Remote Control driver (important!)

Code:
3: kd> lmvm rminiv3
start end module name

Code:
3: kd> lmvm MBfilt64
start end module name
fffff800`031d2000 fffff800`031e0000 MBfilt64 (deferred)

Completely uninstall Realtek software in the normal way you would uninstall any software, from the list. Then, use Device Manager to delete the above MBfilt64.sys driver. Right click on it, uninstall, then check the box to delete too.

Reboot and see if that file is gone from the driver folder. If not, manually delete it then delete its key from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services

Reboot again, then visit Realtek's website to download/install the latest HD Audio driver cod

BSOF still occuring, after removing the drivers above

I removed the Logitech software (I have a G15 keyboard, so I think it might be the sw for that. I alos have a logitech mouse)

I also removed the Famatech radmin software. I used it for remoting into my machine from work, but I can live without it.

I uninnstalled the realtek sw, and re-installed the sw from the site given.

After doing this, the BSOD still occured about 5 times yesterday. I re-ran the SF tool, and am attaching the files here. Thanks for everyones help!

Uninstall or update VPN software, and the machine will be in very nice condition software-wise, and you should be good after (notice on their download page that the version you have now does not support 8):

Thanks, I will try that tonight once I get home. I really appreciate your help.

BTW, I am pretty technical, and wanted to know how you look up the info on the problems, and what tools you use to research issues like this. Is there a 'Debugging 101' guide somewhere I can read? I have watched some of the channel 9 videos on debugging, but am not yet sure exactly where to start. Thanks!
