Hi,

The crash dump is blaming your NVIDIA video driver, but it is not that simple and that is not the actual cause. So, we ponder.

Code:
2: kd> lmvm PBADRV
start end module name
fffff800`01a45000 fffff800`01a51000 PBADRV (deferred)
    Image path: PBADRV.sys
    Image name: PBADRV.sys
    Timestamp: Mon Jan 07 14:12:13 2008 (4782798D)
    CheckSum: 000085EF
    ImageSize: 0000C000
    Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4

As you can see, this driver above is running scared and won't even tell me its location on the machine, which is highly unusual in and of itself. Search your computer for it or look in C:\Windows\System32\drivers for it. When found, rename it to PBADRV.BAK then reboot.

Please update this driver:

Code:
cvusbdrv cvusbdrv.sys Tue May 10 17:05:33 2011 (4DC9A89D)

Driver Reference Table - cvusbdrv.sys

Please update your Creative Camera driver, which is the most likely culprit:

BSOD Issue Solved so far

Thank you MasterChief,
I told Dell Technicians about your findings. Based on your analysis, they updated my security control vault firmware and handled the PBADRV faulty file by reinstalling their software which generated this file. So far, no BSODs related to powerfailure.
Many thanks for your support.
If BSODs appeared again ,I'll let you know (hopefully no).

BSOD Again

Dear Masterchief,
Today I suffered from BSOD again and I don't know who is the culprit now.
I've attached my memory dump, and I appreciate if you can analyze my memory dump again and tell me which
driver / device is the culprit now.
N.B: Nvidia drivers and intel drivers are latest in my laptop and I've checked them.
Best Regards,

Creative.

If you're unable to figure out how to update the drivers, you can uninstall Creative software instead and remove hardware from machine.

Actually updating is necessary if you don't want to remove it.

Best of luck.

This looks like a video problem to me - but nailing down where will be difficult. Please follow the suggestions that I've posted and we'll see what we can find.

Please provide an updated copy of the reports from the collection app: http://www.eightforums.com/bsod-cra...e-screen-death-bsod-posting-instructions.html Please use Option 1 as it provides Event Viewer logs.

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

If all of this doesn't stop the BSOD's, please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings
