Hello everyone,
I was playing Civilization V: Gods and Kings (on the lowest graphics settings possible with a 1920x1080 resolution) recently with a friend online on a 1-month-old Lenovo Ideapad Yoga 2 Pro, and I ran into a BSOD where the game would freeze, but I could still use the trackpad to move mouse in game for a little bit before the entire thing froze, giving me the BSOD. My friend and I tried again, giving me three BSODs total, but I had gotten different messages. The first and third crash stated "DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION," while the second crash gave "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL."
The oddest part is that I have played online with this exact same friend multiple times before and have never before run into this problem (and I have not installed anything new onto my computer in between then and now), and I have also been able to play single player with no problem. I used WhoCrashed, which pointed to a driver problem, but I have verified that I have all the latest drivers.
All the system specs I have are on my profile, but what I think is relevant:
