BSODs since new graphics card, happens regularly.

Hello, this is my first attempt at making a thread on these forums, so bear with me ;)
Ever since I have upgraded from my trusty HD 6790 setup (2 in crossfire) to my GTX 780 (evga sc acx edition, if that matters) it has been a nightmare.
I originally had Windows 7 Ultimate x64 on my PC, it was hard to get anything done, it would BSOD pretty much all the time, and just getting logged in was a pain, I tried multiple drivers and even tried an older driver with an inf mod.
Upgrading to Windows 8 made things a bit better, but games were jerky, crash-y and froze alot; formatting my data drive sorted this. I still got alot of random BSOD's until I upgraded my motherboard and cpu.
I went from an ASUS P7P55D-E PRO with an i3 530 to a Gigabyte Z87X-D3H-CF with an i7 4770k
I'm currently running the latest driver, I have also tried different drivers with my new setup, apart from the older one as I can't get it to work on 8.1.
My BSOD's occur every few hours, the bug check string changes alot, but the crash address is pretty much always ntoskrnl.exe (got this in win7, too)

This is the best my pc has ever ran with this gpu, crashing every few hours. I tend to just be browsing the web, or leaving it idle when I goto sleep when it BSOD's.

The only thing I can think of now is a bad power supply or bad card, although I highly doubt this as my psu ran fine with my crossfire setup + is 750w, then again, it isn't the best psu ever.
It's a powercool 750w psu, not modular, I can't find it online. It has 4 pci-e connectors, 2 of which are 8-pin.

I had 2 BSOD's typing this out :L so much for it happening every few hours.

I have attached the files from the diagnostics tool.

I also doubt my ram is bad as my PC ran fine with my AMD gpu's.

Did you uninstall the old AMD driver's and Catalyst Control Center, before you installed the NVidia driver's ? If not that's the problem and need's to be done pronto.

Pretty sure I did, I uninstalled them via ccleaner, then used DDU to clean everything up.

I reinstalled Windows 7 a couple times when I was running win7, then upgraded to Win 8 and had the same problem. I honestly don't think it'll help.

edit: I didn't do a clean install of windows 8 after I put the motherboard in

I'm going to do a fresh install of win8 on my second ssd and see how it runs. I don't want to get rid of my current installation incase the fresh install makes no difference.

- Windows 8 pro is now installed on a separate drive, the only drivers I've put on myself are the network driver and NVidia driver. If there's any tests I should do please tell me. I will use it normally and see if I get a bsod.

Just to add,
I've ran furmark for an hour and 20 minutes fine now. It was running at 640x360, but with 8x MSAA and Dyamic camera enabled.
Temps didn't exceed 74c (for the gpu)

That's the problem. Do a clean install of Windows. You can't put a new motherboard in without any issue's. Driver's are different from board to board. Do a clean install and I'll bet the issue won't appear. Here's another one that happen's in Windows 8.1: If you keep your documents, etc.. on a drive separate from where Windows is, leave that other drive unplugged, until the 8.1 upgrade is done. Apparentl 8.1 doesn't eork like older versions of Windows in that aspect. It give's weird issue's say if you had 8, etc. installed prior and had documents, downloads, music, etc. on another drive w/Windows pointed to them already in the old version. Stupid things like pre-installed modern app's, etc. will crash/freeze. It wasn't like that in 8, 7, etc. It worked fine in them.

Alright, I'll keep this fresh install of Windows running overnight, if I have no BSOD once I wake up I'll format my main boot drive and put a fresh copy of Win8 onto it. It's a shame I have to reinstall everything once again, though.

I had a feeling this would happen. Got a blue screen on my fresh install, it points towards different things this time but I still think the base cause is my gpu.

note - I only have today to decide whether I'm sending it back or not, I need to contact the seller tomorrow if I am.

Do it fast. They normally only give you 30 days. By chance you had crossfire going with your old cards. Do you have 2 Nvidia cards now and if so is SLI setup/enabled in the uefi ? I don't personally know how to do the SLI in the uefi yet. I'll figure it out in a few months when I get a 2nd GeForce 760. Also, if you do have 2, did you configure them in the Nvidia control panel for sli. I don't currently know how to do that one either. It'll also be figured out later, when I need to use it.

Another bsod, I did a fresh install of windows earlier on my main drive and have been using it normally. My browser was being a bit glitchy and my start menu wasn't functioning properly (using startisback) so I went to click restart and got this bsod right as my pc was about to restart.

Well, I did download the 8.1 version of startisback =/
I'll uninstall it anyway.
I have an extremely short window to figure out the problem, so I will probably send my graphics card back by the looks of it

- I also ram memtest overnight, 4 passes (a few % off of 5 passes) and 0 problems.

I give up, this is impossible. Sending the card back and keeping my trusty 6790's for now, although it'd be interesting to still know what the problem was, as I do want to upgrade to a 7xx card again in the future.

One last thing. Submit your memry dump to the following forum. They have people that know how to read/diagnose memory dump files. Windows Forums Join and then post it on the Blue Screen Of Death link. Within a few hour's, you'll know the exact cause.
