Hi,

I would like to ask for your help. I have a new Acer V5-573G notebook, I installed Windows 8.1 on it, and sometimes I get into BSOD with the error driver_power_state_failure when I want to log in after switching on or waking up the computer. Not all the time though, it happens during about every 5th log in. I suppose it's caused by one of the drivers installed but I can't figure out by which one of them. I reinstalled Windows once, but it didn't solve the problem. Once I have already logged in, the computer works fine, BSOD haven't happened then yet.
I attached my dump files.
Please help me, if you can.

Thank you in advance,
emanuel75

Hi

The issue you are experiencing seems to be caused by Nvidia Graphics driver.

Code:
Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\nvlddmkm.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for nvlddmkm.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for[COLOR=#ff0000][B] nvlddmkm.sys[/B][/COLOR]

	       \Driver\pci	nvlddmkm

Please try the below steps.

1. Check for an updated version of graphics driver by using the auto detect feature - NVIDIA Driver Downloads - Automatically Detect NVIDIA Products

2. Set Nvidia power management to Maximum Performance.

Setting "Power management mode" from Adaptive to Maximum Performance
