    Windows 8.1 pro "0xC000021A" error at boot


    hello everybody, suddenly today when i tried to boot my pc pc i faced the "0xC000021A" error. I have tried a lot of things such as safe mode, windows auto repair and "bootrec /fixmbr" & "bootrec /fixboot" commands but nothing worked...I am desperate... Thanks in advance for your help

    seems to have a fix that didn't require a Windows install. I'm not sure what he's referring to Must be in the boot option screen.

    Are you able to get into Windows? If so, Please provide this information so we can provide a complete analysis (from the Pinned Topic at the top of the forum): Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions

    Are you able to boot to Startup Repair? If so, what are the results when you try it?
    Are you able to boot to the diagnostics for Win8 (Refresh/Reset/etc)? If so, what are the results when you try it?

    Do you have a bootable repair/installation disk that you can use to access Startup Repair? If so, what are the results when you try it?
