Description from other topic:
I'm running windows 8 (not 8.1, and im not planning to upgrade until its out of beta), Sometimes, when I turn it off, it will take a looooong time to turn off (to 3 - 4 minutes) , sometimes it does not.
But when it does, whenever I turn it on again, right after it starts up an error message pops up saying an error ocurred and if I want to send the details to microsoft.
The problem is related to some file in C:/windows called Memory.dmp and something with sysdata.xml (there was a code in there but I can't remember it.)
Also, for some reason, when I install Windows Updates, after they finish, I get that BSOD error and I have to run a restore point, and its driving me crazy, so any suggestions on how to solve all this?. ..

Only 116 Windows Updates installed. Most systems have 160 or more. Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).

Only 1 memory dump in the uploaded reports - but a lot are listed in the WER section of MSINFO32. Nearly all blame your wireless drivers.
Please:
- download a fresh set of the latest, Win8 compatible wireless drivers from the manufacturer's website
- uninstall the current wireless drivers/software
- install the freshly downloaded drivers
- monitor for further BSOD's

This memory dump blames a problem with the OS itself. Try running this to see if it fixes the corruption:
Then please run the following DISM commands to see if there's any problems with the system (from an elevated (Run as administrator) Command Prompt). Press Enter after each one:
Code:
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
Code:
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

If the problem is fixable, you can use this command to repair it (from an elevated (Run as administrator) Command Prompt). Press Enter after typing it:
Code:
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

From this article: Repair a Windows Image

You can also run sfc.exe /scannow from an elevated (Run as administrator) Command Prompt to check for further corruption.

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :
