BSOD on wake from sleep: irql_not_less_or_equal...

Well I thought I had it worked out but apparently not. After updating my atheros drivers I haven't had a BSOD on wake up for at least 20 or so sleep/wake cycles. Now I see a message that's a little different: irql_not_lessC_or_equal...(ath...) forgot to get a screen grab so I don't remember what exactly was in parenthesis. Anyways I would really appreciate if one of you guys could help me out with this. Thanks!

Daemon Tools (and Alcohol % software) are known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems (mostly due to the sptd.sys driver, although I have seen dtsoftbus01.sys blamed on several occasions).

Please un-install the program, then use the following free tool to ensure that the troublesome sptd.sys driver is removed from your system (pick the 32 or 64 bit system depending on your system's configuration): ~~[DEL] DuplexSecure - FAQ [/DEL]~~ Link broken as of 21 Jul 2012

Please note the drivers below that date from before the release of Windows 8.1 (17 Oct 2013) - check to see that each and every one is compatible w/Windows 8.1 (at the manufacturer's website). If not, you must either remove the device and it's software - or locate a Windows 8.1 compatible update on the web.

One driver that I'm very suspicious of is the 2012 version of the Intel Management Engine that's installed on your system. Please ensure that you update it to the latest, Win8.1 compatible version. Try these links:
