User accounts on a Tablet (full Windows 8.1)

I was successful to create another user account than mine, hotmail based too.

Then I disactivated Skydrive in the registry according to the following.
How to Get Rid of SkyDrive in Windows 8.1 Explorer

It does the same as this tutorial but set the value at 0 rather than f090004d.

I did set it back to f090004d.

I can no longer create a new account, hotmail or local. It goes through all the first process, the final screen is 'Let's start' but end with a blue screen and hangs forever.

I also ran ccleaner, no change.

    Hello Saintor,

Please read the instructions here: Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions, and post back with the needed information if able. One of our BSOD experts should be by afterwards to further help.

I took note for the next time, thank you.

For my problem I did a 'Windows Refresh' - that was the *third*. First for the Wi-fi that wouldn't function no matter what, Second for the impossibility to overcome the Windows Update freezing and now this. I am surprised how many troubles I have with W8.1, because the last 4 years with W7 were easy.

    Win8.1Pro - Finally!!!

    Win7 was NT v6.1
    Win8 was NT v6.2
    Win8.1 is NT v6.3

It seems to me that there are more little glitches in the update process to 8.1 than there were in 8 or 7.
Each new version introduces new features (and the OS becomes more complex)
