BSOD when entering website

Hello my friends,

unfortunately I forgot all my BSOD analysis skills, so I'll give you the chance. I just bought an ASUS Zenbook for studies, which is very pleasant. Though, today when I visited a website called The Verge, I got a BSOD. Earlier today when I visited the site, it froze for a second or two.

Usually it happens when the computer is running on the battery. I experienced a sudden shutdown when it's on battery, which is notable imo.

Anything you can pull off this one dump?

It's great to tune into this forum once again. Seems like you're doing just as fine as I left the building :D.

BSOD blames USB - but it may not be correct. Check USB device and drivers in order to be sure.

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

Hello Usasma

For some reason, the Windows Update wasn't having a proper setup, so it wasn't downloading and installing the updates as it should. I'm now running Windows 8.1, and it's going right on smooth. As far as the fan drivers goes, the Zenbook model has a bug whereas the fans either will run on 100% and make complete noise, or 0% and then receive 60C on the CPU or so.

The Fan Controller fixes that issue, and it has currently no cause of BSOD's as far as I'm concerned. The driver should be compatible with Windows 8.

I'll have a look at the rest!

Thank you so much.

Kind regards,
Fred.
