My pc keeps crashing like 3 times a day whenever i am playing games or watching movies.ntoskrnl.exe is always the cause of the crash.

Here are some files that i read they might help you find my problem.
i have to mention that i did a harddrive test ,a memetest(8passes) without errors.

Hi

What you are experiencing seems to be bugcheck 0x124 which is usually caused by hardware reasons.

Code:
BugCheck 124, {0, fffffa8005c9a8f8, 0, 0}

Probably caused by : AuthenticAMD

Please start with diagnosing hardware first.

1. Reset BIOS.

How To Clear CMOS (Reset BIOS)

After resetting, load optimal default values.

2. Run Memory test.

RAM - Test with Memtest86+ - Windows 7 Help Forums

Make sure to run it for complete 10 passes and post a clear screenshot taken with a digital camera or cell phone. You can stop the test immediately even if a single error or red line is shown.

3. If memtest is a pass, run Prime95 stress test.

Hardware - Stress Test With Prime95 - Windows 7 Help Forums

Select SmallFFT test and also select Advanced --> Round off checking.

Run the test for 3 hours and post the Result.txt file it saves with next reply.

The mem-test that i did had no errors at 8 passes.
But as for the prime test i did it but only for the 8k self- test with no errors cause my cpu got at 80C and i could not risk it.

If your CPU can't handle Prime95 - then you have a cooling problem.
And they can lead to STOP 0x124 errors also.

Check the cooling for your CPU:
- thermal compound between the CPU and cooler
- cooler is clean and free of dirt/dust/hairballs
- fan on cooler is pushing cool(er) air into the cooler
- fan on cooler is running fast enough to push enough air
- airflow is not obstructed
- other fans in case are pushing cool(er) air towards the CPU cooler

Then rerun Prime95 and see if the temps stabilize.
Temps will run higher in Prime95 (because it's a stress test), but the temps should level out below 90ºC

I just posted this to help out (in case Anshad didn't get back for a while) - I won't be regularly posting to this topic.
