    DPC_WATCHDOG_ERROR Windows 8.1

I just downloaded and tried to play this game (TERA Online) and every 15-45 minutes I will get a random BSOD that calls the error a DPC_WATCHDOG_ERROR. If anyone could help me that would be great.

Your laptop came with switchable graphics technology. "Intel HD graphics" will be used for low graphic demanding apps and "Nvidia" dedicated graphics will be used for games. But the game you are playing seems to be using "Intel" graphics instead of the "Nvidia" one and thus lead to a BSOD. To resolve this, you should set the "Nvidia" GPU as the preferred graphic processor for all games.

Please follow steps 1 -8 from this link - Changing graphics card settings to use your dedicated GPU on a Windows computer. | Serato Video Support |

On step 7 , select the "Tera Online" game executable instead of the example described.

I keep getting this error about 30-40 seconds after I type my password and enter Windows. Booting to safe mode is the only way it works (it's how I'm posting this.) Thanks for your help. Edit: I also have gotten a driver_power_state_failure once or twice. What's going on?
