Hello, I just purchased this laptop about 2 weeks ago, before I wait weeks by mailing it back to HP and letting them deal with it I wonder if someone can look at the diagnostic tool's results?

I began getting it soon after deleting many of the bloat-wear programs and so on.. It has happened at least 4 or 5 times now, the first time it said silver light crashed, I got the bsod and restart after watching netflix for less then 90 min. But the last two times (tonight ) this happened I was only downloading a large 3 gig game file..

Any help would be greatly received!! Hope I did this right I am new to this!

Hi

Both your crash dump shows pnetmdm64.sys as the possible reason behind the crashes. This driver is associated with the June Fabrics Technology/PdaNet Modem. The driver seems to be historically old.

Code:
Loaded symbol image file: pnetmdm64.sys Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\pnetmdm64.sys
    Image name: pnetmdm64.sys
    Timestamp: [COLOR=#ff0000][B]Wed Mar 07 23:43:19 2007 [/B][/COLOR](45EF00BF)

According to the official site, "PdaNet" is not supported on neither "Windows 8" nor "Windows .1".

PdaNet -- Use your Treo smartphone as a Wireless Modem for your PC

PdaNet supports Windows 7/Vista/Windows XP

Please uninstall "PdaNet" completely from the system and most probably your BSOD issue will be solved.
