    I attempted to update the System BIOS but I got the following error - "InsydeFlash cannot load the driver. Please close all applications. If you run this utility in Windows 8, please run as Administrator". Please note that I ran it as Administrator and the only thing that was open was the usb drive to which I had copied the application....By the way, I removed Norton 360 but nothing has improved. Since the BIOS update was not complete, should I still attach the newly created dump?

    I assume the BIOS update utility won't run in "safe mode". Anyway, please upload the latest crash dump.

    "Norton" seems to be uninstalled correctly so it is not a problem anymore. A the new crash dump also blames Windows system files, it is tricky to find the real culprit. Please try the below steps one by one.

    1. Perform a clean boot.

    A clean boot will disable all third party services form the system . Please follow instructions from the below link and perform a clean boot.

    If the system works fine without crashes, refer part two to find the culprit.

    2. If the BSOD happens even in a clean boot state, try uninstalling drivers one by one and check whether the BSOD stops. Often power related issues are caused by network interface drivers. So start with uninstalling wireless driver.

    Open "device manager" and right click on the "Atheroz" wireless LAN driver. Right click and choose "Uninstall". Select "Delete driver" and press OK" button.

    Now try to boot in to normal mode. If not possible, repeat the steps with "Realtek" LAN driver.

    3. If nothing helps, enable "driver verifier" from "Safe mode".

    Next time BSOD happens, hopefully the dump will contain details of the offending driver.

    This was a very tedious process but well worth it because I was able to isolate the cause of the problem. All the services passed the test. It was the application Comodo LivePC Support Component in Startup. I disabled it and I am no longer having the BSOD issue. I thought that I could use the Add/Remove Programs to remove it but it is incorporated in Comodo and I have no idea if or how that component can be isolated. If you know how to do that then I will appreciate your guidance. If not, then I guess I may have to function with that application being disabled.
    Your help was invaluable in troubleshooting this problem. You are obviously an expert. I truly appreciate all your time, guidance and patience in supporting me to have this issue rectified.

    I am glad that you was able to find the culprit. My recommendation is to fully uninstall "Comodo" at least as a test. If the system works fine, re-install either "Comodo" or "Norton" (only one) . Since "Comodo" is creating problems, i would go with "Norton 360". Whether you choose "Norton" or "Comod" , make sure Windows is up to date and you are using the latest setup downloaded from the respective site.

    If you choose to stay with 'Comodo" , deselect "Comodo Geek buddy" and "Comodo Dragon" and only install the "Comodo internet Security".
