Built my pc about a week ago seemed to be working until i started getting constant bsod.

i have an Asrock z87 extreme 3 and a 4670k an r9 280x by sapphire and 2 x 4gb on corsair 8gb low profile ram.

the Bsod's often happen when semi intensive task are happening, watching hd videos playing games etc, and always happens when i restart pc after a shutdown or if it wakes from sleep.

Hope i can get some help thanks.

Sorry for the delay in responding. There just aren't that many people who do BSOD analysis, so at times we get a bit overwhelmed!

For starters:
At work we start all repairs with a set of diagnostics. Often they find problems that weren't even expected. It's a waste of time to try to fix software on a system that has hardware problems.
Please try these free diagnostics for starters: Hardware Diagnostics
Also, please ensure that you have ALL available Windows Updates (it may take several trips to get them all).

I suspect temperatures (overheating) and maybe video - start with those tests.

I'm late for work right now.
I'll be back either this evening (about 12 hours) or tomorrow AM (about 24 hours)

I completely re installed windows to see if that would help, I have done some testing (cpu and ram) memtest 3 pass's with no errors. Cpu doesn't seem to be over heating at load for about 5 minutes didn't go over 55c and at idle it was always under 30c.

Will continue testing video card.

If the system crashes while running a stress test - the first suspect is always the component that you were stressing.
While hardware is most likely (IMO), I still prefer that you rule out all 3rd party drivers before trying to replace the hardware.

If you've replaced the video drivers, then that would seem to rule them out.
BUT, there is a older, sometimes troublesome driver still installed ( WPRO_41_2001.sys)

I would suggest uninstalling it's program (and ensuring that the driver is removed) before moving on to try another video card.
WPRO_41_2001.sys Mon Nov 7 16:04:48 2011 (4EB847F0)
CACE Technologies WinPcap Packet Driver
http://www.carrona.org/drivers/driver.php?id=WPRO_41_2001.sys

If you do not have another video card on hand, you may have to purchase one to test with. Please be sure to purchase one that you can return (and get your money back) in case the testing proves that the card isn't at fault (this happened with another poster today - luckily he had an older card on hand to test with).

And, just to be sure (after removing the program), please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings

Were you running Driver Verifier during these crashes? If so, please turn it off now. To do this, open up verifier.exe and select "Delete existing settings", click on "Finish" and reboot the system for the changes to take effect.

I don't see any ATI drivers in the memory dumps, so I presume that you have physically removed the video card (and, since I see Intel graphics drivers, I presume that you're using an onboard graphics card). That being the case, then this looks like a hardware problem to me. Please start with these free hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics

Please post back with the results of the diagnostics and we can move on from there.

Well I'm guessing the problem may be ram, when i run Small FFT's in Prime95 which doesn't use a lot of ram my pc doesn't crash but when i run the blend test My pc crashes after a couple seconds, though a couple passes of memtest showed no errors.

I will do more testing of the ram tomorrow.

Thanks for the help.

    I quite enjoy taco's
It's not unknown for that to happen. Run the CPU stress tests also.
Prime95 tests RAM, CPU cache, and memory controller (on the CPU in the i series CPU's)
Test the RAM sticks one at a time (and test a good one in each of the slots) in order to rule out sticks vs slots

Good luck!
