Another ntoskrnl.exe error on Windows 8.1

So I know its been posted a few times lately that some people are receiving a BSOD with reference to ntoskrnl.exe. Mines a bit different. I recently upgraded to 8.1 and every time I play a game my computer shuts down. No BSOD, no freezing, nothing... just cut to black with no power. This is the only time the error occurs. I can watch movies and videos for days; the comp crashes only when playing games ranging from Portal 2 to League of Legends.

I've updated all my drivers and rolled back to a previous Nvidia driver. I found the error by running Verifier. Memtest shows that all my RAM is doing fine and my hard drive is healthy. I've got no idea what could be causing this. My processor does seem to be running a bit hot (~60*C) but a burn in test didn't crash the computer.

Thanks guys!

Here's my specs:
Asus G60Jx
Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit (from my uni)
12Gb of RAM
i7 720Qm
Nvidia GT-360M

Please turn Driver Verifier off. To do this, open up verifier.exe and select "Delete existing settings". Then click on "Finish" and reboot the system for the settings to take effect.

Your BIOS dates from 2010. Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any BIOS updates available for your system. Also check the readme file to see if they apply to the problems that you are having. Please be advised that flashing the BIOS is a very unforgiving process - and one mistake can physically damage your motherboard.

There are 2 possibilities here - and they are affected by Driver Verifier. What settings did you use for Driver Verifier?

The first problem is most likely your Avatron PCI Bus Device Filter (Most likely a part of your Air Display program). Please uninstall it to see if that stops the BSOD's

The other problem is that Driver Verifier pointed to your touchpad drivers (this can be software or hardware).
Please remove and reinstall them:
- download a fresh copy of the latest, Win8.1 compatible touchpad drivers from the Asus website (if none are compatible, that can be a huge problem for you).
- uninstall the current touchpad drivers from your system
- install the freshly downloaded drivers
- monitor for further BSOD's

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :
