Everytime i play dota 2, window 8.1 crashes and shows a bsod.

My laptop is a Dell Latitude E6430
with Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3720QM CPU @2.60GHz
with 8 GB of ram
Running Intell(R) HD graphics 4000
and NVIDIA NVS 5200M
And i have updated this two driver the version that is compatible with windows 8

I've been searching up and down for a solution. And those solutions were only temporary
Thanks in advance

My Computer

System One

  • OS
    Windows\ 8.1
You have a D-Link Wireless G DWA-110 USB Adapter:
I do not recommend using wireless USB network devices. Especially in Win7/Win8/8.1 systems.
These wireless USB devices have many issues with Win7 and later - using Vista drivers with them is almost sure to cause a BSOD.
Should you want to keep using these devices, be sure to have Win7/Win8/8.1 drivers - DO NOT use Vista drivers!!!
An installable wireless PCI/PCIe card that's plugged into your motherboard is much more robust, reliable, and powerful.

These devices have problems in Device Manager:
Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client Virtual Miniport Adapter for Windows x64 ROOT\NET\0000 This device is disabled.
Not Available ROOT\NET\0001 The drivers for this device are not installed.
Please uninstall the Cisco software. If the software is needed, please enable it and update it to the latest, Win8.1 compatible version. If it does not have an 8.1 compatible version - DO NOT use it.

The other device is most likely related to networking. Have you uninstalled Virtual Box from this system?
Try uninstalling the device from device manager and see what happens (be sure to have a set of network drivers doewnloaded in case this stops the network connection).

Daemon Tools (and Alcohol % software) are known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems (mostly due to the sptd.sys driver, although I have seen dtsoftbus01.sys blamed on several occasions).
Please un-install the program, then use the following free tool to ensure that the troublesome sptd.sys driver is removed from your system (pick the 32 or 64 bit system depending on your system's configuration): [DEL] DuplexSecure - FAQ [/DEL] Link broken as of 21 Jul 2012
New link (15 Aug 2012): DuplexSecure - Downloads (pick the appropriate version for your system and select "Un-install" when you run it).

Memory dumps blame Intel graphics drivers. Please:
- download a fresh set of the latest, Win8.1 compatible graphics drivers from http://downloadcenter.intel.com
- uninstall the current graphics drivers
- install the freshly downloaded drivers
- monitor for further BSOD's

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

Rayan Antoun

While the symptoms may appear the same - each system is different and the cause may not even be similar.
Also, I can't give individual attention to more than one person in a topic - it just gets too confusing for me (and detracts from my ability to help both of you).
Please start your own topic and post the requested files there. Feel free to also follow this topic - it may give you some ideas on your own system.
Good luck!

For starters:
At work we start all repairs with a set of diagnostics. Often they find problems that weren't even expected. It's a waste of time to try to fix software on a system that has hardware problems.
Please try these free diagnostics for starters: Initial Hardware Diagnostics
Also, please ensure that you have ALL available Windows Updates (it may take several trips to get them all).
