Help me with irregular BSOD

Hi, I am new to this in-depth analyzing of errors, but I'm trying my best to understand everything. :)

I have had quite some issues with my computer going into BSOD or simply just shutting down at random moments and restarting itself. (This is most frequent when I'm playing games)

I have tried to resolve this over the last year in a lot of different ways through the last year, but haven't come to a solution yet. The last few months I've been into studies and nature and stuff like that. :dinesh: I've mainly been browsing mails, internet and writing studies, and my PC has actually behaved pretty well.
However, Battlefield 4 is released, and as soon as I start playing my computer crash after a while.

My Computer

System One

  • OS
    Windows 8.1
    Computer type
    PC/Desktop
    CPU
    Intel Core i7 - 930 @ 2.80GHz
    Motherboard
    ASRock X58 Extreme3
    Memory
    DDR3 6GB
    Graphics Card(s)
    2xNvidia GeForce GTX 460
For starters:
At work we start all repairs with a set of diagnostics. Often they find problems that weren't even expected. It's a waste of time to try to fix software on a system that has hardware problems.
Please try these free diagnostics for starters: Initial Hardware Diagnostics
Also, please ensure that you have ALL available Windows Updates (it may take several trips to get them all).

Your BIOS dates from 2010. Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any BIOS updates available for your system. Also check the readme file to see if they apply to the problems that you are having. Please be advised that flashing the BIOS is a very unforgiving process - and one mistake can physically damage your motherboard.

If you're overclocking, please stop the overclock while we're troubleshooting. Feel free to resume the overclock once the system has been stabilized.

The memory dumps blame video. It may be software, hardware, or a compatibility issue.
First step is:
- download a fresh set of the latest, Win8.1 compatible video drivers for your video card from Visual Computing Leadership from NVIDIA
- uninstall the current video drivers from your system
- install the freshly downloaded drivers
- Monitor for further BSOD's

Other steps:
- run the free hardware diagnostics (especially the video tests) at: Hardware Diagnostics
- run the suggestions here: Video TDR Timeout - 0x116 + 0x117 - Sysnative Forums
- update your chipset drivers to the latest, Win8.1 compatible version. If updates aren't available for Win8.1, you may have to consider that the system isn't compatible with Win8.1 (and you may have to revert to a previous version of Windows in order to get acceptable performance).

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :
