Right, so after two weeks of trying to fix this on my own, I give up. I tried other people's fixes but it did not help. From what I gather, random stuff conflicts with ntoskrnl.exe...

I run demanding software and nothing crashes.
I simply browse the web and randomly kablooey.
Please, if you have any advice, let me know, or maybe point me to another thread that's relevant... and if you need more information ask away. I'm starting to really lose hope.

Lot's of Live Kernel Events in comparison to the number of BugCheck events - Please do the following:
- open Event Viewer (run eventvwr.msc from the "Run" dialog))
- expand the Custom Views category (left click on the > next to the words "Custom Views")
- right click on Administrative Events
- select "Save all Events in Custom View as..."
- save the file as Admin.evtx
- zip up the file (right click on it, select "Send to", select "Compressed (zipped) folder")
- upload it with your next post (if it's too big, then upload it to a free file-hosting service and post a link here).

Daemon Tools (and Alcohol % software) are known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems (mostly due to the sptd.sys driver, although I have seen dtsoftbus01.sys blamed on several occasions).
Please un-install the program, then use the following free tool to ensure that the troublesome sptd.sys driver is removed from your system (pick the 32 or 64 bit system depending on your system's configuration): [DEL] DuplexSecure - FAQ [/DEL] Link broken as of 21 Jul 2012
New link (15 Aug 2012): DuplexSecure - Downloads (pick the appropriate version for your system and select "Un-install" when you run it).

If Driver Verifier is turned on, please turn it off now. If you don't know if it is, then don't worry about it.

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

If all of this doesn't stop the BSOD's, please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings

Thank you for the reply!

Here is the file you asked for. I'm going to start checking through the rest of the message now.

Alright, so the problem seems to have fixed itself after installing Intel RST and uninstalling Daemontools. Or at least, there hasn't been a crash for 18 hours. Will come back if it happens again, but so far it's looking good, thank you, like a WHOLE lot.

One more issue though, that I noticed a couple days back and I don't know how or when it occured... file explorer is having trouble opening some .lnk's, namely the downloads, desktop and recent ones in the left hand side. All the others are perfectly fine. Uploaded a screenshot. I tried adding file explorer as a default file for .lnk's but I can't seem to find its executable... any advice?

I'm not real familiar with those "links" - but the executable for File explorer is explorer.exe
On my system the opening program is an "unknown application" and mine opens just fine.
