Hi!
My laptop has been crashing whenever I reopen the screen. Its possibly linked to my NVIDIA driver which has been crashing randomly as well.

I've already uninstalled and reinstalled my NVIDIA driver. I've had one crash since then, but crashes are less frequent.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

You are right. Both BSOD's are caused by nvlddmkm.sys.
Let us try:
  1. Download the latest driver from: Visual Computing Leadership from NVIDIA
  2. Win+X->Device Manager the select Display adapters then right click to uninstall
  3. Win+X->Programs and Features and uninstall everything related to NVIDIA.
  4. Now re-install the driver. On the next screen, select Custom->Next then put a check on Perform a clean installation.

Good luck !!!

So my computer's gotten even more unstable, I've tried at least 4 times to type this reply because its crashed in the middle of me doing it. Several times its crashed before login. I've gotten video_scheduler internal error and DPC_watchdog violations on separate occasions.

Is there any hope for my PC?

Oh and after my driver crashes my chrome windows and file explorer windows go black.

Edit: This morning I decided to just completely uninstall my graphics driver and not install a new one and I haven't had any problems or crashes just using the internet and office programs.
