Receiving random Blue Screens on Win 8 Pro (x64)

    Hello there!

Since the 12th October, I'm getting either the KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE or the BAD_POOL_HEADER Blue Screen (of Death).
According to BlueScreenView, ntoskrnl.exe is responsible for most of the BSODs. Does anybody know a solution for this? You will find the dump files and a list of all the hardware specs of my computer in the attached rar archive.
Just ask me if you need more Information.
My OS is Windows 8 Professional (x64).

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

P.S.: Please pardon my English, but I'm swiss.

    Win8.1Pro - Finally!!!

Your English is very good - probably much better than mine (and I'm a native speaker)!

You have a Wireless LAN 802.11n USB 2.0 Network Adapter.
The majority of the BSOD's blame rtwlanu.sys - a driver for your Wireless USB 2.0 Network Adapter
Please remove the device from your system and uninstall it's software in order to test for further BSOD's (either use a long wire for internet connectivity - or more the system closer to the router and use a shorter wire temporarily)
    Also:
I do not recommend using wireless USB network devices. Especially in Win7/Win8 systems.
These wireless USB devices have many issues with Win7(and I suspect with Win8) - using Vista drivers with them is almost sure to cause a BSOD.
Should you want to keep using these devices, be sure to have Win7/Win8 drivers - DO NOT use Vista drivers!!!
An installable wireless PCI/PCIe card that's plugged into your motherboard is much more robust, reliable, and powerful.

    MSINFO32 file appears corrupted.
    Please try this:
    MSINFO32:
Please go to Start and type in "msinfo32.exe" (without the quotes) and press Enter
Save the report as an .nfo file, then zip up the .nfo file and upload/attach the .zip file with your next post.
Also, save a copy as a .txt file and include it also (it's much more difficult to read, but we have greater success in getting the info from it).

If you're having difficulties with the format, please open an elevated (Run as administrator) Command Prompt and type (or copy/paste) "msinfo32 /nfo %USERPROFILE%\Desktop\TEST.NFO" (without the quotes) and press Enter. Then navigate to Desktop to retrieve the TEST.NFO file. If you have difficulties with making this work, please post back. Then zip up the .nfo file and upload/attach the .zip file with your next post.
Daemon Tools (and Alcohol % software) are known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems (mostly due to the sptd.sys driver, although I have seen dtsoftbus01.sys blamed on several occasions).
Please un-install the program, then use the following free tool to ensure that the troublesome sptd.sys driver is removed from your system (pick the 32 or 64 bit system depending on your system's configuration): [S] DuplexSecure - FAQ [/S] Link broken as of 21 Jul 2012
New link (15 Aug 2012): DuplexSecure - Downloads (pick the appropriate version for your system and select "Un-install" when you run it).

Your wireless USB XBox controller driver dates from 2009. There are no updates available for it - and it's known to cause BSOD's on Windows systems. Please remove the software and physically remove the device from your system (parts of this may already have been done).

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

Thank you very much for your detailed answer, usasma.
Unfortunately, my computer does not have a built-in wireless card and is located in a dead spot of our Wireless network which requires me to use this WLAN adapter. But since you said that the rtwlanu.sys driver, associated with said WLAN adapter, is the main source for the BSODs I will try to use this adapter on my laptop and bridge these connections over LAN in the future.

I also want to note that the XBOX 360 controller has been installed with DS3 tool. (A tool used for connecting PS3 controllers per USB or Bluetooth with Windows, in case you didn't know that. Please look it up in google for more information about this application.)
However since you mentioned the problem with this driver, I will try to uninstall it.

I haven't fully followed your instructions yet, but wanted to add some more information which might be necessary for further assistance. Thank you again for taking your time and writing this detailed report!

UPDATE: I did everything listed in the instructions and it actually worked! I'm no longer encountering any Blue Screens anymore.
