Random error BSOD indicating kernel crashing

So I've bought a new laptop a few weeks ago (Acer V3-772g). I had a valid Vista key so i've upgraded from that to win8 pro, ever since i've done that my laptop has had many different BSODs... I've googled a bit on the errors and all the people seem to have indicated running standart things like memtest86, hd checks and driver verifiers. I've done all the things sugested, but fail to get to the answer of what's actually wrong (it passed all the tests..). So after a few weeks of struggling I think I need some pro help. I've tried running debuggers to solve the minidumps, but failed to indentify anything.

The laptop seems to be running smoothly, not overheating or anything and the BSOD pops out of nowhere.. It crashes than idle, it does that while watching a video, or even on a flash game... Sometimes it doesn't crash in a day, sometimes it does so a couple times in an hour... I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling/deleting different drivers that I found in the internet to be a possible cause of BSOD. But nothing rly helps. Need assistance :(

Your network controller drivers are not installed. Please visit the manufacturer's website and get the latest, Win8 compatible version to install on your system. You can check the status of this device in Device Manager.

Out of 18 memory dumps there were 7 different BSOD error codes. The differing error codes are usually symptomatic of a lower level problem within the system. They are usually caused by one of these things:
- borked (broken) hardware (several different procedures used to isolate the problem device)
- BIOS issues (check for updates at the motherboard manufacturer's website)
- overclocking/overheating - You'll know if you're overclocking or not. If uncertain we can suggest things to check.
- compatibility issues (3rd party hardware/drivers - to include Daemon Tools (see below))
- low-level driver problems
- or even malware (scanned for when we ask for hardware diagnostics from Initial Hardware Diagnostics or Hardware Diagnostics ).

You can get a head start on the hardware diagnostics if you'd like - they are located here: Hardware Diagnostics

Daemon Tools (and Alcohol % software) are known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems (mostly due to the sptd.sys driver, although I have seen dtsoftbus01.sys blamed on several occasions).
Please un-install the program, then use the following free tool to ensure that the troublesome sptd.sys driver is removed from your system (pick the 32 or 64 bit system depending on your system's configuration): [DEL] DuplexSecure - FAQ [/DEL] Link broken as of 21 Jul 2012
New link (15 Aug 2012): DuplexSecure - Downloads (pick the appropriate version for your system and select "Un-install" when you run it).
Alternate link: Disc-Tools.com
Manual procedure here: Registry and SPTD problems | DAEMON Pro Help

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

    Other Info
    I'm handsome and a snappy dresser :0)
Ok so i've done the testing hardware bits and it seems to pass them fine. However, I've done them AFTER: 1. removing the left over Deamon tools drive (i've tried installing it after i've got win8 on the laptop, but it failed... so i didn't think anything would have left in there), 2. Updating the ethernet drive 3.Uninstalling the Intel HD 4600 driver that I had installed on the laptop... (Spotted this in the HWMonitor, I have installed both Nvidia and Intel GPU drives after win8 instalation.. somehow I didn't look that I dont have a Dual GPU on the laptop.. silly me..)

Crossing thingers that would solve my Random BSOD problem :)

And still a few BSOD after :/ It rly bugs me... :(

(Attaching the new minidumps aswell.)

edit*
So i've tried runing Intel update utility (just to check if it finds anything needing an update, cause acer support is not that great... there hasn't been an update released since 5th Jun.), but it failed. I selected the detect updates thing and would agree to all the pop up messages, but it would just get stuck on "Analyzing..." for forever with no error or anything... Tried googling the issue but all I found was that it might be blocked by something.. Even though i did succesfuly run the utility previously...
Anyhow, after i've failed to check my system for intel drives, i've went to acer support and found that there has been newer BIOS released 2 days ago. So it might actually fix something? I mean it would be possible that ppl adressed the random BSOD and it might have been caused by BIOS? :>

well I've updated the BIOS now and will see if there's any crashes...

edit2*
now I've figured that i was silly removing the Intel HD 4600 because it didn't show up on the HWmonitor and thought i installed 1 too many drivers... So i've installed the Acer provided Intel VGA drivers and now my laptop wouldnt start normally. Oh right, I've found that some "USB bluetooth *thingy*" was disabled in the drivers so i've enabled it... Now the BSOD appears with Driver_power_state_failure everytime it tries to log in(it loads the windows icon and then shows black screen for a few minutes and pops the BSOD), restarts and does the same... the only option i figured was to turn on Safe mode... it loads up that way... :/

I've transfered the new minidumps (minidump2.zip) to other laptop and uploading them here... Oh right, i've tried installing generic intel drives before doing the Acer ones, and that caused the same thing so i've restored the laptop to Yesterday.. :? Thought it might just be cause they're speficaly modified to Acer and shouldn't be messed with...

IMO we're looking at video issues (maybe a hardware problem). Try:
- updating your video drivers
- had another issue with an Acer not long ago - see this topic: http://www.eightforums.com/bsod-cra...930g-fx770m-video_tdr_failure.html#post270721
- try the video stress tests at this link: Hardware Diagnostics

So I went ahead and deleted the Intel HD while in safe mode, set the laptop to clean boot (no services/start up programs other than microsoft). It loaded up fine... and was able to survive for some time (just idle). I've read about updating the video drivers, so i thought i could instal the intel HD again and reinstall NVidia on top of it. But it crashes during the intel instalation and it wouldn't load up anymore :/ will need to set safe boot again and remove intel HD i guess... :/

BTW, for the video stress test, in the description is says to run until GPU reaches 90C or something weird starts happening... I've done the test before and in around 3min it reached 65C and stabilized at that for another 3mins.. i was moving up and down a bit 64-65 C but not going up anymore.

Now, i've started in safe mode again. Removed the Intel HD graphics... and started Nvidia instalation, it promted it needs a restart and i forgot to turn off the default safe boot thing.. so it just safe booted again not continueing the isntalation, tried to install it again and it poped an error saying i need Inter (R) drivers first... So i've installed just the driver itself (selected update driver from device manager) and succesfuly reinstalled newest Nvidia drivers...

Gonna turn off the safe mode now and see if it works .

OK windows did load up, i've turned on the Nvidia services only. However the weird thing is that HWMonitor doesn't show GPU anymore... Should I carry on? (it does appear on FurMark software).

View attachment 27987 so i've ran the test for 20mins this time, and it steadily moved up to max 74C. I'm guessing it's not gonna get that stressed any time anyways, this laptop is for Design and Image editing mostly, not gaming. (The temp drop down to 40C in around 2mins after closing the test).
It's just that these random BSOD would be a problem if they happened mid-edit process. :/

The issues seem to be problems with the graphics cards.
I'd suggest posting over in the graphics forums: Graphic Cards - Windows 8 Forums

On occasion the mod's will return your post to here (I don't know why).
If that happens, then I'll suggest visiting the nVidia forums for assistance.

Good luck!
