BSOD - page fault in non paged area

Hi guys,

A couple of days after i bought my laptop (maybe 4 months ago)I've been experiencing BSOD's. At first it was once a day, until it turns several crashes a day (like maybe 15 crashes). I cant tolerate it anymore so i brought it to a service center. They fixed the issue, they said it's because of a virus. But after a few days, crashes came back, i noticed that when i leave my laptop on without doing nothing(i don't know if IDLE is the correct term)it crashes. I cant remember the error of the first crash but i think its about the memory until yesterday its about "page fault in non paged area". when i turn on my laptop it keeps crashing and crashing and wont go to the desktop unless i use safe mode.

Here are my specs which i copied from the report SF Diagnostic tool generated
Operating System: Windows 8 Single Language 64-bit (6.2, Build 9200) (9200.win8_gdr.130531-1504)

This device is disabled. Is it deliberate? If so, why?
VirtualBox Host-Only Ethernet Adapter ROOT\NET\0000 This device is disabled.
I would suggest that you uninstall it - but if it's needed, please enable it and update it's drivers. Feel free to disable it again after updating the drivers.

Out of 46 memory dumps there were 11 different BSOD error codes. The differing error codes are usually symptomatic of a lower level problem within the system. They are usually caused by one of these things:
- borked (broken) hardware (several different procedures used to isolate the problem device)
- BIOS issues (check for updates at the motherboard manufacturer's website)
- overclocking/overheating - You'll know if you're overclocking or not. If uncertain we can suggest things to check.
- compatibility issues (3rd party hardware/drivers)
- low-level driver problems
- or even malware (scanned for when we ask for hardware diagnostics from Initial Hardware Diagnostics or Hardware Diagnostics ).

You can get a head start on the hardware diagnostics if you'd like - they are located here: Hardware Diagnostics

Please remove the Western Digital software. It's driver (wdcsam64.sys) dates form 2008 and is known to cause BSOD's in some Windows systems.

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

If all of this doesn't stop the BSOD's, please run these free hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics. Let us know the results and we can move on from there.

Also please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings

Hi usasma,

Thank you for your reply, but before i read that i had already repair my laptop using my windows 8 cd. and i think its now working fine. I don't encounter BSOD's now unlike the last time that my laptop is crashing several times a day. Do you think it's working fine now? thanks.

If you're not getting BSOD's any longer I'd suspect that you've fixed the problem.
We'll be here if they happen again.
Good luck!
