Hello forum members. This is my first time posting and I just registered today. I have a HP Envy DV6-7245US laptop. On yesterday, out of nowhere, I get a computer crash. I used WhoCrashed(Home Edition) to analyze what happened. Below are the results. I need guidance on what I need to do to fix this. Please help. Thanks.

Bug check description: This indicates that an attempt was made to execute non-executable memory.

This might be a case of memory corruption. More often memory corruption happens because of software errors in buggy drivers, not because of faulty RAM modules. There is a possibility this problem was caused by a virus or other malware.

The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time.

Hi again jdef23. usasma does most (if not all) of the BSOD analysis for this forum and he is excellent at what he does so be patient and he will get back to you with his findings.

Only 61 Windows Updates installed. Most systems have 80 - 100 or more. Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).

C: drive only has about 3% free space. Windows likes 15% free space in order to perform stuff "behind the scenes" without adversely affecting the system's performance. Please free up 15% on ALL hard drives (you can get away with 10% on larger drives and won't notice a large performance penalty)

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

CyberLink Virtual Device Driver

If all of this doesn't stop the BSOD's, please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings

There is a possibility of a hardware problem here (but less likely than the other things I've suggested). Please run the free hardware diagnostics here (particularly the MemTest86+ and Prime95 Blend test's): Hardware Diagnostics

Hello all. Sorry for the late reply. Just letting you that I updated my Windows updates. Saved downloaded large files to an external drive; so hard drive space is free. The file CLVirtualDrive.sys is updated. So far I haven't experienced any more BSODs. Thanks @usasma and @my2cents for all the help. I'll mark this post as solved.
