Hello forum,

I am in need of help. I have just starting using the the acer aspire v5 573 G Laptop (i5 4200 U, GT 750M, 8GB9 and have had 2 BSOD crashes so far. Ive got the notebook without an OS (only Boot-up linux) and installed the testversion of windows 8 64bit enterprise edition via usb stick. (I will later install a regular Windows 8 version) I have all drivers updated (according to acer driver update tool) and Ive got all Windows Updates (even the optional updates.) Still I have had 2 crashes so far caused to netio.sys. (it also names ntoskrnl.exe). Ive already found out that the problem indicates that its a driver problem for the wifi or the lan network. But ive got all drivers updated?! dont I?

Ive attached the ZIP with all my information from the diagnostic tool. Maybe you can find what exactly is the root of my problem and what I should try. In my opinion it could only be the network lan driver (not the wifi), because I wasn't connected to WiFi when it happened.

I hope you can help me,

Thanks in advance,

Martin

Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client Virtual Miniport Adapter for Windows x64 ROOT\NET\0000 Das Gerät wurde deaktiviert.
If not needed, please uninstall the Cisco AnyConnect program from your system. If it is needed, enable it and update it to the latest, Win8 compatible version. Feel free to disable it once it's been updated.

Daemon Tools (and Alcohol % software) are known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems (mostly due to the sptd.sys driver, although I have seen dtsoftbus01.sys blamed on several occasions).
Please un-install the program, then use the following free tool to ensure that the troublesome sptd.sys driver is removed from your system (pick the 32 or 64 bit system depending on your system's configuration): [DEL] DuplexSecure - FAQ [/DEL] Link broken as of 21 Jul 2012
New link (15 Aug 2012): DuplexSecure - Downloads (pick the appropriate version for your system and select "Un-install" when you run it).

If you're overclocking, please stop the overclock while we're troubleshooting. Feel free to resume the overclock once the system has been stabilized.

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :
