Solved Windows 8 Freezes and BSODs

Hello,

I have Windows 8 x64 for some time now, and I'm experiencing random freezes which take from 3-15 seconds and BSODs. I have followed the BSOD posting instructions and provide You with the zip file. Oh, and I know when the latest freezing and BSOD happened: the freezing happened today (2013-09-05) at about 8:48 (that's my local time. I hope it will be the same in the event viewer logs...) and the BSOD happened yesterday (2013-09-04) at about 23:20 (again, local time). I have also checked the driver details if there are any "?" or "!" icons which supposedly tell that something's wrong and there were no errors. (Well, I guess You'll have that information from my uploaded zip)

Any solutions or recommendations are welcome.

This device is disabled. Is this deliberate? If so, why?
Qualcomm Atheros AR3012 Bluetooth(R) Adapter USB\VID_0489&PID_E036\ALASKA_DAY_2006 This device is disabled.

Memory dumps blame the driver for your Death Adder. Please uninstall the current software and download/install the latest, Win8 compatible version from the Razer website.

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

Thank You very much usasma !

I have successfully installed the new razer drivers, but I haven't found where should I activate the BlueTooth driver, so could You please tell me? Well, I hope the BSODs will stop from now on... Oh and btw HOW did You know all that info? Just from looking at the dumps and logs? If it's not too much to ask, I want to know how to do this myself (resolve the problems with drivers and stuff), so If You could tell me where I could learn what You know, I would be very grateful !

The Bluetooth is disabled in Device Manager.
To get there, open up the Run dialog (press the "Win" and "R" keys at the same time).
Type in "devmgmt.msc" (without the quotes) and press Enter
Look for the Bluetooth category
Right click on the device and select "Enable"

At times I've found disabled devices that don't say they're disabled. In this case I enable them, reboot, then disable them.

How do I do this? Well, it's a lot of work and requires a lot of experience also.

Basically I:
- first I rule out 3rd party drivers (over 90% of BSOD's are due to this)
- then I rule out hardware (less than 10% of BSOD's are due to this)
- then I look at Windows problems (less than 1% of BSOD's are due to this - as long as Windows Updates are fully up to date).

Lot's of info on how to do it here: BSOD
I get nearly all of my info from your description and answers to my questions, the MSINFO32.nfo report, the systeminfo.txt report, and the memory dumps
I use a script to help extract some info from the memory dumps, but it's still necessary to look at them in detail.

Thank You again for the reply. I will surely take a look at the information You provided me, because knowing how to deal with these issues IMHO is a valuable think these days.

Oh and thanks to You so far I haven't experienced any BSODs nor any random freezes, which means this issue is solved!
