    BSODs - HELP

    Hi guys,

I'm having problems with my laptop which I honestly dunno why. I'm having random BSODs due to reasons such as:

    1. System Service Exception
    2. Driver Verifier Detected Violation
    3. IRQL Not Less Or Equal
    4. FLTMGR File System
    5. Memory Management
    6. Kernel Security Check Failure
    7. Bad Pool Header
    8. Driver Overran Stack Buffer

I'm not keen on following things I just read on some random sites coz it may make matters worse so I thought I'd try it here. So to anyone who can help me... please... I just want to use my PC and just not worry about getting a BSOD.

Appreciate any help! Thanks in advance!

    Try running

    sfc /scannow

    in administrator command prompt.

    Attachment 26571

    Then run

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

    in administrator command prompt.

    Attachment 26572

Reboot & run sfc /scannow again.

    Then post back with results.

You may want to run the Memory Diagnostic tool:

    Hello David,

Thanks for your reply... I ran the memory diagnostic tool and it came up empty on errors... Also ran the sfc/ scannow and it found corrupt files. I then proceeded with Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth but I keep on getting the message below:

    Error:87

    The clean-image option is unknown.
For more information, refer to the help by running DISM.exe /?
The DISM log file can be found at C: Windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log

Attached are the corresponding CBS and dism logs which i transferred to txt...

Any idea how to proceed further? Thanks!

So the Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth completed and reported that the issue was resolved. I restarted and ran the sfc/scannow and there were no more errors. Thanks! Hope I won't get any BSODs anymore. BTW, can u tell me what was the issue which caused those BSODs?

    Corruption !
Foul corruption in the OS store.
    DISM fixes the store corruption.

    Thanks for the reputation point.

Getting BSODs every once in a while, why? in BSOD Crashes and Debugging
Hi, for some reason I got a BSOD a couple days ago. It's not the first time I got one. Last time I had it was quite a few months(maybe a year) away. It gets stuck at collecting error data or whatever 100% so I just force it to restart and then my PC is fine. Is this something to be worried about?
