Windows 8 crashes very often (Blue sad screen)

Bought a new laptop about 10 days ago and in those days it BlueScreened 36 times...
Ran winDbg to try to identify the cause but everytime except once or twice the causing process was "system"

I just re-installed windows hoping to get rid of this shit but in those 6 hours the computer has been running again
    i've had 2 crashes.

Before re-installation I ran sfc /scannow and got stuck on 51%, after re-installation it stopped in the same spot.

Could someone please give me some advise?

    Thanks in advance

10 days ago? Bring it back, get another one! That's the first thing I would do.

If it was BlueScreening from the start, it's obviously a BAD system. What is it, make and model? Bring it back, get something else.

    It's an Acer Aspire V3 -772G Win 8 (obviously), 4702MQ, GTX760M, 32GB Ram, 256SSD + 1TB
the thing is that i've already installed a lot of the programs i use and would rather not have to do it again... It's a lot of work!!

But you're telling me that something should be bad with the system itself, not windows?

If so then there's nothing left but to return the piece of shit!

Was it doing it from the start? Yes!

However, it may be one of the programs you installed, and, you may have picked up Sirefef or Snap.Do or some other virus.

You can always try to do a Refresh or run the Recovery partition and restore it to it's original state. Losing programs is a pain, but save all of your Data from the programs and get ready to reinstall all of them. Eset AV will allow you to save your profile so you don't have to set it all up again after re-installing.

    Win8.1Pro - Finally!!!

You're quite welcome! If you look at the responses in this forum, you'll note that there just aren't that many of us who do this.
I have a family, a job, and limited time to devote to the online forums helping people. I work from the oldest to the latest posts - so I'll eventually get to yours. I was 4 days behind a couple of days ago - now I'm only 2 days behind.

Also, if you'd read the "sticky" topics at the top of the forum, you'll see that we need this info in order to get to work on your problem: Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions

FWIW - if you've reinstalled Windows and still have issues, I'd first suspect hardware problems. Start with these free diagnostics (and let us know the results): Hardware Diagnostics

Since the laptop is only 10 days old, I'd seriously consider returning it for a replacement.

Make sure the spaces are correct in sfc & DISM.

    sfc /scannow

    Dism{SPACE} /Online{SPACE} /Cleanup-Image{SPACE} /RestoreHealth

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Both are run in Administrator command prompt.

    Attachment 26647

    Attachment 26648

Before running them again, run this batch file in Administrator command prompt:

    Attachment 26649

It cleans out your cached Windows Updates, some of which could be corrupt.

    Post back with results.
