I got a random crash and could find no other info afterwards except:

"The dump file at location: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP was deleted because the disk volume had less than 25 GB free space."

I'm using a 60GB SSD for my OS with 16GB to spare, and have an additional 400GB HDD for files.. What the hell, that's a bit stupid like? at least leave crash files there for an hour or two...

I wanted to check the memory.dmp for info on the crash. On startup computer said the file was being sent to Microsoft but that's not much good to me like... any way I can retrieve the crash info?

This is a deliberate decision by Microsoft due to the limitations of SSD's. As for it being stupid, what happens when the crash dump is too big for the remaining space on the hard drive and then starts overwriting your data?

Should you choose to do the research, you can find that there are several workarounds that will enable the system to save crash dumps. You can start with this article: Understanding Crash Dump Files - Ask the Performance Team - Site Home - TechNet Blogs

Also, you can provide us with this info: http://www.eightforums.com/bsod-cra...e-screen-death-bsod-posting-instructions.html
and we may find that:
- there are minidumps that have some of the info (unlikely, but possible)
- the WER section of MSINFO32 may contain some abbreviated info on the crash that was reported to WER.
- there may be traces of other, known BSOD causing drivers in the other reports
