BSOD (Only occurs whilst gaming)

Okay so I've had my computer for about 8-10months now, I built it myself (for gaming) and over the past 2 months or so I have been getting the blue screen but it only occurs whilst playing games. It has occurred on these games; GTA IV, Arma 2: DayZ mod, GRID2 and a few others. I often monitor my PC using HWMonitor to check the temperatures and my CPU and GPU have never gone above 70 degrees. I also have 2 monitors that I always use, 1 with a game on and another with other applications I use such as Twitter, HWMonitor, Skype, TS, netflix, youtube etc etc.

About a week ago I re-installed Windows completely in an attempt to fix it but had no luck, no BSOD occurred for about 4-5 days and then out of nowhere it happened, followed by the next day and then about 3 days after that (today). There is also no known thing that sets off the BSOD, I could play the same game for a few hours and completely out of the blue up comes the BSOD. I have never had the BSOD when on desktop applications or programs, just whilst playing a game. I have attached my Memory dump file (zip) but I have no clue how to look for the problem, can anyone help?

Basing my opinion on your system, I think you have heat related problem, That processor cooler is too small. You need something better than that. I would not go lover than CM Hyper 612s Evo, even without or very little OC. Most of the times when there are delayed troubles after prolonged heavy use, heat is the problem. Use a program like SpeedFan or Hardware Monitor to check temperatures continuously but based on my experience TX3 is no mach for FX 8350.

Thanks for the reply, I often monitor my PC using HWMonitor whilst playing games (under heavy load) and like I said in my original post my CPU has never gone about 70 degrees celsius. Which I think is about average, especially under load.

Sorry but 70c is just too much, 55 should be your goal with eventually 65 for short time on very OCd processor. This is not an Intel which can see 70s C often.

Okay, do you think I should get some better cooling for my case and a new cpu fan?

An air cooler for the CPU with 6 pipes and 120mm fans, not less then CM hyper 212s Evo. For CM Hyper 612 Evo I can vouch that can handle FX 8350 up to 4.5 GHz because I installed few of them at those speeds. Above 4.5 GHz OC water cooling would be advisable.

I'm late for work. If fixing the cooling doesn't stop the BSOD's, shoot me a PM and I'll take a look at the memory dumps.

I haven't got round to getting new cooling yet but last night my PC blue screened when my CPU was running at 40 degrees celsius and GPU was at 56. The game I was playing at the time probably uses less than 10% off my resources so that tells me its not the cooling but something else. I've attached the memory dump for it, there's no rush though.

AMD OverDrive (AODDriver2.sys) is either a stand-alone application, or a component of the AMD VISION Engine Control Center. This driver is known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems.
Please un-install all AMD/ATI video stuff from Control Panel...Programs...Un-install a program
Then, download (but DO NOT install) a fresh copy of the ATI drivers from Global Provider of Innovative Graphics, Processors and Media Solutions | AMD (in the upper right corner of the page)
Use this procedure to install the DRIVER ONLY: ATI video cards - DRIVER ONLY installation procedure - Sysnative Forums

If the device (AODDriver or AODDriver4.01) remains a problem, open Device Manager, select the "View" item.
Then select "Show hidden devices" and scroll down to the Non-Plug and Play Drivers section.
Locate the AODDriver entry, right click on it and select "Un-install". Reboot for changes to take affect.
Sometimes the driver remains and continues to cause BSOD's. If this is the case for you, post back and we'll give further instructions for safely removing it.

If overclocking, please stop. Remove the overclock and return the system to stock/standard values while we're troubleshooting. Once the system is stable again, feel free to resume the overclocking.

Also, Comodo may be a problem - but it's hard to tell with this selection of memory dumps (it's the reason why I asked that you wait until you've fixed the overheating). You have had 6 memory dumps with 3 different BSOD error codes. That's usually a sign of a hardware issue (such as overheating) - yet the one, most recent memory dump isn't sufficient on it's own to determine a cause.

Finally, add to it the numerous outdated storage controller drivers that the OEM has loaded onto you system (which may not even be significant) and it's uncertain what your problem is. Again I request that you not pursue fixing any further BSOD's until you've fixed the overheating problem.

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

Hi, sorry about the really late reply I've been on holiday in Turkey and haven't had access to my PC or decent enough internet to reply. I go back 2days ago and recently got another blue screen with the SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION error (I've attached the .dmp) but not whilst gaming, all I had open was a twitter desktop appiclation, skyplayer, reddit.com and a youtube video playing. I'm going to go through all the driver updates and follow your instructions from the previous post. Sorry again for the late reply and thank you so much for taking the time to help.

Sorry I just looked over your post again, I can get 2-3 more fans and try and solve the overheating by the 5th September. Should I do that and then attempt and doing everything with the drivers?

You can fix the drivers at any time - but don't expect any improvement until the overheating is fixed.

Don't forget to remove AMD Overdrive as described above.

This BSOD is a low-level error also:
They are usually caused by one of these things:
- borked (broken) hardware (several different procedures used to isolate the problem device)
- BIOS issues (check for updates at the motherboard manufacturer's website)
- overclocking - You'll know if you're overclocking or not. If uncertain we can suggest things to check.
- overheating (try this free monitoring utility: HWMonitor CPUID - System & hardware benchmark, monitoring, reporting )
- compatibility issues (3rd party hardware/drivers)
- low-level driver problems
- or even malware (scanned for when we ask for hardware diagnostics from Initial Hardware Diagnostics or Hardware Diagnostics ).

You can get a head start on the hardware diagnostics if you'd like - they are located here: Hardware Diagnostics

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :
