Dear Community,

I hope you guys can help me out with my problem.
I am new on this board, so "HELLO" to everybody. :)

Yesterday, I got 2 BSOD, followed by a reboot.
I followed the instructions showing in the next link:

http://www.eightforums.com/bsod-crashes-debugging/12109-bsod-different-types.html

...and I did, what was described here:

Verifying Drivers: Enable or disable the Driver verifier in Windows 8

After e restart, it did not show anything to me.
Then, I tried the program: "BurnIn", kept it running for a while but no luck.

Finally, I tried "WhoCrashed", and this is, where I need your help.
My knowledge is not good enough to analyse it.

Conclusion

3 crash dumps have been found and analyzed. A third party driver has been identified to be causing system crashes on your computer. It is strongly suggested that you check for updates for these drivers on their company websites. Click on the links below to search with Google for updates for these drivers:

iastora.sys (Intel Rapid Storage Technology Enterprise driver - x64, Intel Corporation)

If no updates for these drivers are available, try searching with Google on the names of these drivers in combination the errors that have been reported for these drivers and include the brand and model name of your computer as well in the query. This often yields interesting results from discussions from users who have been experiencing similar problems.

Read the topic general suggestions for troubleshooting system crashes for more information.

Note that it's not always possible to state with certainty whether a reported driver is actually responsible for crashing your system or that the root cause is in another module. Nonetheless it's suggested you look for updates for the products that these drivers belong to and regularly visit Windows update or enable automatic updates for Windows. In case a piece of malfunctioning hardware is causing trouble, a search with Google on the bug check errors together with the model name and brand of your computer may help you investigate this further.

Thank You everybody!!!

Cheers,
Sven

Hello, JustATest and all the others.

Thank you for your response.

One more information for you guys:
This is a new pc, and I had problems with it from the very beginning. I bought this one online via a pc configurator and the company, who bulids the pc checks, if everythin works together.
As I mentioned, I had problems with it.
ASUS GeForce GTX 680, 4GB was replaced by ASUS GTX GeForce 780, 3GB and
the original Motherboard: ASUS Sabertooth X79 was replaced by ASUS Rampage IV Formula.
- I don't know, if there might also be a problem?!

I am quite stupid, when it comes to drivers. *cough*
I went on to this site and I used the "Intel Driver Update Utility"; was it correct?
...and this is, what it tells me:

Looks like you have the latest Chipset inf already installed, your graphics are NVIDIA so that's an NA (for Intel), you have a LAN update available (but that's not your issue). At this point, I would follow the BSOD instructions for collecting and uploading the failure information and wait for one of our BSOD experts to help you. Be patient, one will be along as time permits. Good luck.

Hello, again!

You said: "At this point, I would follow the BSOD instructions for collecting and uploading the failure information"

...does this mean, I should send the messages to Microsoft and wait?, or does this mean, someone in this Forum will know the answer?

And one more question: Would you say, it could also be a hardware problem??
...and if so, how would I be able to figure out, which part it is (RAM, Motherboard, Chip, etc.)?

Cheers,
Sven

Not all of the reports are present in the uploaded info. Please rerun the data collection app and let it run for at least 15 minutes (or until the app itself says that it's done). Then zip it up and upload it with your next post (I need the systeminfo.txt and MSINFO32.nfo reports in particular).

All of the memory dumps blame your Intel Rapid Storage Technology (RST) drivers. Please update them from the manufacturer's website. If the manufacturer doesn't have them available, then check http://downloadcenter.intel.com for the latest version.

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

I attached the new zip in this post.
I hope, it is correct this time.

Before I start with your instructions, I'll better wait, until you guys had a look at this?!
What do you think?

Again, thanks for your help...

Cheers,
Sven

No need to wait, start the fixes now.

SSD's were temperamental when they first came out, but their reliability has improved greatly over the last year or two. There are 2 things that MUST be checked on systems with BSOD's and SSD's:
1) That the SSD firmware is the latest available for the SSD
2) That the storage controller drivers on the motherboard are the most recent. They must date from late 2012 or later. This is ALL controllers, not just the one that the SSD is attached to.

That is the only thing that I got from the additional reports. Continue with my previous suggestions and we'll work from there.

Hey!!

I installed the latest Chip Sets and also the latest Intel Storage Drivers.
Additionally, I made a BIOS update. -> I hope, it worked. I forgot to take a picture of the old version and I am not sure, if the one I see now is also the latest one. lol

What I will do now is: keep it running and wait for the next BSOD, or may be not.
Anyway, I will keep you informed.

Update: I kept my pc running for about 24h and so far (touch wood), no BSOD.
I carefully assume, the driver and/or BIOS update solved the problem. -> But, you know better how a BSOD works. :)
It's like a b$%?h.

At this point, I would like to say thank you to the people who helped me out with my problem.

Cheers,
Sven
