As the title says,i have gotten the error 3 times in the last 2 days i think,i just bought a new motherboard.
System Specs are:
i7 3770
Asrock B75 PRO-M board
2x4GB ram
7970 GPU
1TB HDD
Win 8 64-bit
I saw the instruction in the sticky thread and went to properties>Advanced>settings and Write an event to the system log and Automatically restart boxes were checked,Uploaded the file i got by using the SF diagnostic tool too.
Im a gamer and i don't think this problem occurs when playing a game,at least not that i noticed.
Also i should mention, previously i had Asrock B75m and this new board is its ....well next version i guess? Basically when i installed it,i didn't have to do windows again or install any drivers, could that be causing it? I really don't want to install windows again, its a real headache.

Hello,

I cannot find a listing for either of those motherboards (as you have specifically identified them) at the ASRock website. The only thing I can surmise is that they both have the B75 chipset. With that said, I would not make any assumption that is it OK to simply replace a motherboard that appears to be similar to the old because there have been many modifications to the B75 chipset over time. Specifically I am using an R2.0 rev and the exact name of my mobo is ASRock B75M-DGS R2.0. I would urge you to consider doing a clean install on that new mobo while you are waiting for one of our dump analysis experts to formally analyze your data. In my opinion, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Good luck.

Thank you for the reply Just, and i was planning on doing a clean install but it simply takes too much time, time which i do not have as of now. I was going to wait 3-4 days and then do it.
And this is my old board: ASRock > B75M
And the new one: ASRock > B75 Pro3-M

Just a hint before the reinstall. Go through your BIOS and disable any features that yo do not expect to use. As an example, I have the following options disabled because they are of no use to my configuration:

Intel Rapid Storage
Intel Smart Connect

Serial Port (no modem)
Infra Red Port (desktop w/no wifi)
Parallel Port (I have USB printer

Other special setting:

FAST Boot - Set to Fast (I do not recommend the Ultra Fast option)

System Mode State - Setup
Secure Boot - Disabled

Everything else is set to default. I assume you are going to do a UEFI install (as opposed to Legacy)?

Good luck. Hope this information helps you.

Thanks a lot just, never in a million years would i have thought that the LAN card was the cause lol. I have uninstalled the beta drivers but the problem is only these beta drivers work on win 7/8. Do not know why. Every other driver says Hash file is missing or something.
Anyways, now that i know the cuase,i will look for an alternative :)
Rep given :D

Just a thought, have you tried installing your win 7 drivers in the compatibility mode?

Im afraid i dont know how to do that. I simply go to Device manager, select the Unknown ethernet controller and update drivers, then go to the folder with the drivers,it says drivers found but could not install because hash file was missing or something.

Now I'm really curious. Why aren't you using the LAN port on the mobo? I'm sure it is 10/100/1000 whereas that TP 3200 card is only 10/100; yes? Also, could you please give the correct model for your mobo? Is it a B75 Pro3-M perhaps?

Yes thats the motherboard.
And i get strange issues with the built in ethernet port for some reason. Like right now,for the past 3 hours,i was getting full signals,i was getting great ping (I use an american server of Battlefield 3 game to check my ping) but the browsing was absolutely zero. Restarted many times, troubleshooted but to no avail. Right now im back on those beta drivers, its the only way this works right now.

There should be no issues with that LAN. I have the same Realtek LAN in my mobo. Works like a top. Is that why you are using that old TP 3200 LAN card? Do you have XFAST LAN disabled? If not, disable it. Did you use the LAN driver from ASRock here:

ASRock > B75 Pro3

Now for the driver compatibility issue. There is another way to try and install it:

Go to device manager
Right click the LAN entry (under Network Adapters)
Select Browse My Computer
Navigate to the folder containing the driver (that was created when you unzipped it)
Continue to navigate to the Win7 x64 folder and click on it (note the next button lights up)
Click next to continue the installation
(can't go any further or I'll be trying to install your driver)
